(I keep going back and forth, I thought he was more towny today though. An interesting VCA note is that on D2 when I first got pushed into a decent lead, my wagon was AM/genny/Wisp/Poppy/miranda, and I'm not sure that I think more than 2 wolves would have been piled on me there...)

thats the final straw. AM‘s play is way off. And I was just sitting here trying to sleep and thinking about today. Why was AM so adamant the game is broken? Why is she saying this can’t be the setup? Why is she so concerned with how are wolves going to defend themselves? Who cares? We are the village and you take what wins you can! I think this is all anger at AM from her thinking the game is unfair to the wolves and she can’t contain it. She’s probably giving sport ponies an earful. And probably stuck with some noob wolves,

it makes a lot more sense than her unhinged posting today, and now trying to muddy the waters with another meaningless inquiry where it is clear the wolf lied , big reveal there,

she is Tunneling all game wrong and just distracting us. what is more likely? AM became a bad player or she is a wolf. Gotta be the latter.

"To think, that I would lose to mere beasts," he gurgled, then was still.

Dead is @miranda920 - Solon, TWSITD (WOLF), who had no special abilities.

A wretched creature among them had been tamed today. It was almost enough for them to forget the war of ideals raging outside. The houses were digging deep with strategies to gain the upper hand. Perhaps it was time to seek new recruits to energize the armies. But that... was a problem for tomorrow.

The mob departed. It was time to strategize by candlelight.

I finally read the write up and two things stood out to me. Caveat - I've been up for the past 26 hours, so they may not make sense.

There seems to be widespread pushback on AM, but I expected that as it is always hard to get village to Yeet her or WZ. Pending some info tonight I may just defer to crowd, but I have never seen her so poor as a villager and I still think her frustration as a wolf in her mind in a broken game is most likely why she was borderline unhinged yesterday spending hours on meaningless posts (and way over the limit it seemed to me) on how would wolves faction claim etc. maybe my posting when half-asleep turned some of you off, if so sorry.

But start looking at her posts more carefully. She is spending a lot of time arguing about NAI stuff, distracting the village, tunneling, and has a big up her butt about me. She ignores any positives about me and just tunnels on looking for evidence to support her fixed view. Btw… if she is gonna claim if my good village play is wolfie in past experience and my bad village reads are wolfy, how can I ever be anything other than a wolf in her eyes. Fact is I try to play the same as a wolf or not. Since odds are i am usually more often a village based on laws of RNG, she should leave me alone but she tries to launch me all the time so her coming after me is not NAI usually, but it is very wrong here. Combined with all her other misses this game it pushes over the top for me.

Based on wisp’s post last night it should be clear to the wolves that I am a faction leader, so I might as well come out with it for those who aren’t hyper focused. I know all the members of my faction and have a little insight into what is happening (just a little).
Yeeting me is dumb, and my being a wolf runs counter to the entire game design.

The irony of my role is that its major emphasis is to get the factions to work together to kill wolves, so of all the players I am the one probably the MOST focused on wolfing, and not wanting faction members to die unnecessarily. That is all I will say on my role. No need to spell stuff out for the wolves.

Tl;dr AM is tunneling me. I am a faction leader

The conversion thing is a real concern. Pretty sure if there was a conversion last night there is a mechanism in play to warn us, unless we are very unlucky.

Considering you've been in my POE, that' is actually helpful as I doubt you would be both.

Has anyone else vouched for knowing your identity? Maybe Wiisp did.

Not fishing for info, just trying to verify the village claim.

Wisp said she would protect me. I assume she has a similar role to SARS but have no direct knowledge of that, it also it appears a different sort of protection thankfully.

There is one other who may know me but I am not sure they will pipe up.

Notice I am careful not to talk about factions or who are my members. I have a tinfoil theory that 2 wolf kills night 2 was because church members were revealed on thread.

I am hoping my vagueness passes through the mod filter for activating any more wolf powers/abilities.

It was obvious from your post. If I was a wolf I would have seen that right away. If wolves could figure it out, all the village should know.

And frankly I am on too many wolf reads lists. I don’t have the inclination to waste a day defending myself from AM’s nonsense.

Sorry. Would have preferred neither of us had to. I know you tried to make it vague but the questioning of you made it clear. Go reread the section again and you will see it I think.

I dont' think you need to name a second person, and probably shouldn't. In retrospect, either you and wisp are wolves or you know you are in the same faction.

Wisp isn't a wolf so I think that clears you both - barring conversions of course.

People better than me at mechanics/understanding the source material have probably already figured that out.
 
W/e as long as we don't claim who we are, and nobody else needlessly claims from our group, it's probably fine

Maybe I f-ed up? Could have been more obvious to me than wolves but I try not to underestimate the pack.. more eyes to pick up stuff. If so, sorry. Maybe I let AM get under my skin too much.

Yeah this also pinged me. Made me wonder if this might be a smaller OG pack with some powerful rez or conversion mechanics triggering when they lose so many members or something. Sounds like that would fit with the lore of them killing people and replacing them. That in particular as lore makes me hella nervous about rezzes in particular

I agree with this. My Tinfoil as well. Also why AM’s complaints about a broken game are so inappropriate. I think outing factions is a trigger, I think maybe pack size is a trigger, but I also foresee a shift in the game at some point possible. 2nd half may be very different than first. All tinfoil stuff, just fun to speculate while we await results. Not using any of this stuff to make decisions just looking around for more clues.

I suspected that last night with Wiisp’s info but with his attitude towards me and the info about you, I’m now certain you re not a wolf. I wasn’t wolf reading you anw. Feeling better about Mayo too, advocating for Wiisp.

Wolves need to find someone else to push today so advocating for someone’s village status makes me think it’s not a wolf strategy.

Ohh I don't care about pronouns, my avatars will always be girls cause i like cute things and I use an alt on FoL called Millium where my pronouns sre she/her to match the character from cold steel
 
Night 3: Our Chosen Paths

"Are you seriously trying to seduce a weed? Unbelievable." Despite knowing him for her entire life, Sylvain still seemed to still find things that amazed Ingrid. She lunged for his sleeve, but he backed away too quickly.

"What? No! Come on. I was just talking to myself!"

Ingrid gave him a sharp glare and muttered something about focusing on his work, and he knew better than to keep talking. They worked silently for some time. It was only when they finished that Ingrid noticed someone lurking in the greenery. She stood tall. "By the Goddess, show yourself!" With no response, she took a step forward and the stranger let loose an arrow that met its mark with a low thud.

Sylvain cradled her head and screamed for a healer.

“It's okay, Sylvain. We all choose our paths and I've chosen mine. I fight for my lord, to the death."

Later that night, across the country, the Black Eagles were burning the midnight oil. Hubert's face was more ghostly than ever in the candlelight as he scribbled on his parchment. His thoughts were broken by a knock at his door. "How unusual," he mumbled. It was not common for him to have visitors, let alone at this time of night.

His gaze steeled when he met the eyes of his visitor. "I haven't an ounce of respect for the cause you have chosen. If I had two lives to live, both of them would be for Her Majesty. You are simply a pawn."

A struggle ensued, but it was well known that Hubert was no expert in hand-to-hand combat. The visitor was wounded, but all the dark magic in the world could not protect the young Count Vestra. His body was found the next morning.

On his desk, a letter detailing the location of Shambahala addressed to Claude. Next to it, his coffee grew cold.
