I stand by what I said about animal midwife’s play style before wildzoo told us to knock it off. I do enjoy the detectiving arguing and joking but her approach of constantly calling the arguments I make tinfoil and insisting everyone needs to make arguments in her way just feels bad and I don’t enjoy playing a game in that atmosphere. Most of y’all are great I just think this is best for me.

I'm inclined to agree, although with that (out-of-game/meta) information it changes the gameplay; we now have info that we may not have gotten in the normal game progression and that's frustrating.

It was sudden but I think Wiisp's reasoning was reasonable (mothy voted for Nate with no context and explanation, which Wiisp found concerning)

I think my earlier comment about Nate was just buried by like, 12 pages of the thread.

I mean that’s fine, I just wasn’t expecting it to come this late in the cycle as we approach waffle hour.

I didn’t like Nate’s vote for April, so seeing a sudden (sudden from my perspective) vote for Mothy who’s voting for Nate, pings me a little.

This is fair point, that I obviously can’t trust.

It wasn’t enough to make me switch my vote or anything, I just thought it was interesting and wanted to make a note of it.

I've definitely self-voted during some of my first games. It can get intense but you do get used to it.

I mean I get it, but just saying from the perspective of someone who mods games, talk to the mods if you want out of the game. There are certain courtesy things we try to follow out of respect for the people who design and run the games and the other players. I wasn't trying to make you feel worse, just letting you know that's the preferred protocol.

Zuri, I don't think people are trying to dictate how you exit the game. But when you peace out like that, it does provide hints about your alignment/role (both in the death reveal and also some possible readings RE: your beliefs about your role importance to the game), which affects how the game would have progressed otherwise. I don't think anyone is being antagonistic towards you, just wanting to express their frustrations on how that impacts gameplay. You didn't win the yeet but hopefully you can take some time away from the screen if needed to get that self care. I started dreaming about this game last night (again) and decided to spend most of the day away from SDN because I didn't want this to consume me again. If it makes me wolfy, sure. But your mental state is more important than winning a game.
