Anyone know whats up with NSU? I have seen that a few people on here have been accepted. Do any of you know if they send out some acceptances early and wait to waitlist/reject/accept later in the cycle? I had my app submitted and verified at the end of September and all I have heard from them that my app is still under review.

I was waitlisted two weeks ago. Didn't receive email. It was a physical letter in the mail.

Do you mind sharing your stats and when you submitted everything? I haven't heard anything since October when they said my app was under review. It's pretty interesting that they only notified you by letter in the mail.

Not about admission, but I just got an email inviting me to their "Visit Day". Not sure if all the applicants got that email or if that is good news for me.

Same here haha

Same here! Unfortunately, I have an interview that day so I won't be able to make it. Can you guys post in here about it after?

I haven’t heard from NSU either. I had no idea they send a physical letter. I’ll be checking my mailbox on a daily basis.

I was waitlisted today too through a physical letter in the mail.

Pretty bummed, I thought my stats were spot on for their program.

I got accepted into NSU Ft. Lauderdale on Nov 1st. I had first received an email with my acceptance attached and I had to email back my decision within 9 days from when I received it. I had then gotten a physical acceptance in the mail too. So you should most likely expect an email AND physical mail if you are accepted. They will probably send out more acceptances as people deny their offer which I believe will happen as other schools are slowly giving out acceptances.

I just an invite this morning. I know there was another visit day some time in the Fall so we can multiply the number of attendees by 2 to get a rough idea of how many got invited. See you all there!

I'm in the same situation! Did you just tell them that you're going to be out of town? I hope this doesn't affect our chances.

I also got the invite a few days ago. So the one scheduled in January is the second visit day?

I just emailed Amy and said I had an interview the same day and she understood. UF holds 2 open houses a semester so maybe try to make it to one of them in the spring!

If anyone has any questions about UFs campus life and Gainesville I can try answering them! I just finished undergrad there last spring.

I submitted mine very end of September and still haven't heard anything from them either :/

Same. The waiting is driving me crazy! haha. Are you still taking classes this semester? They could be waiting for our academic update on PTCAS. I emailed them a couple of weeks ago saying I would be updating my grades as soon as I finish this semester.

I never thought about that, but yes I just finished my last semester this week. I will updating my transcripts once I get my final grades. Hopefully, this is the case haha. I can't handle waiting anymore.

ahh USF is only giving me 5 days to accept their admission offer! I'm still waiting to hear from UF though |:

Congrats on your acceptance! I also applied to USF but other than the automatic generated emails I haven’t really heard from them.
Do you mind sharing your stats?

overall GPA: 3.84

Does anyone have any idea when UF will be sending out acceptances?

Does anyone know how FGCU does their interviews?

Congrats! I got the call Tuesday. Are you going to accept?
Congrats to you too!! I haven't accepted yet because I'm still waiting from other schools but I only have until Jan 3 to decide. What about you?

Thanks! I'm strongly considering accepting because UCF was a top choice for what I'm looking for in a DPT program (clinicals, tuition, faculty, location). I'm deciding between my top 2 programs currently.

Doesn't UF and Emory make decisions in like Feb-March? If so how are you going to handle that situation? Risk it for the UF or Emory biscuit?

You accept UCF and then if you get an offer you prefer you respectfully decline the acceptance. It is expected and the worst that you do is risk losing deposit money. You can't risk turning down an acceptance hoping for a different one. Many, many people on the forums dealt with multiple acceptances that way.

I'm most likely going to accept UCF first and wait for the other two. I really do like the program but I would like to see where else I get accepted first

Yeah you make a good point. I found it interesting that UCF doesn't require a deposit.
