With me it was all about the diet. I've always been pretty active, but over the pandemic year+ developed and even greater appreciation for all things aged, cured, fermented, and distilled. Cooking is a hobby and and escape, and with it comes eating. I started doing Noom in June, and it's working for me. While I'm already pretty well versed in the CBT and Mindfulness stuff on which it's based, it a nice refresher. For me, I really benefit from the feedback of the formal calorie logging, with the careful weighing and portioning. I tried walking around the other day carrying 40 lbs of dumbbells, and it really hit home the impact that type of weight has on the knees and back. I still have about 20 more lbs to go before i get my reinforcer (a new pair of skates).
