Future WW Games

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
When my stuff gets shot down I ask the mods if they're willing to make busted versions of it that even I don't understand how it works. For the lulz lol

I feel like half the fun of being an item maker is having to make stuff with in the restrictions from the mods. And trying to bend the rules a little when you can :p
I'm still sad in STL's conseqwwences game that my items kept randomly getting RNGd to wolves and they were too scared to use them. I made a porn item that would give you a computer virus posting restriction 75% of the time and a seering result the other 25% and I wanted to watch it wreak havoc :p

no one told me i could have done a double whammy of a different combo or i could have done that for my first thing
And I didn't tell @Trilt that she had the option to not kill someone every night in her first game as a village assassin. @SummerTheLynx didn't tell me ahead of time that I could have resurrected myself if I had submitted that as a contingency in the first game of his I ever played.

Mods aren't gonna tell you every little thing about your role, part of the fun is figuring out what you can do with it ;)

Basically tell them to slide off everything that doesn't work and toss that baby out into the world like Moses into the river. The item usually gets used a lot and people try to figure out what on earth it's telling them and none of us have any idea lol. Sometimes some super sleuth figures it out but usually it's like "I used this and it told me 0?!?" and I get to shrug knowingly

(my items were also one and done and PEOPLE KEPT DYING WHEN THEY GOT THEM so there wasnt anyone to even back me/my items up until basically the end)

Who can I blame for not telling me I don't have to have a meltdown every game? I'm just going to call it a strategic habit now to save face ;)

Oh wait, I have been an item maker before! Think it was in a game that had something to do with magic...kaydubs and hazel were two of the mods. Anyway, I think that's the game I tag teamed with someone else (Caiter?) and almost immediately got us killed when I took over. Whoops.

When your item shuffle off the mortal coil you pour one out for the boys and get back to work lol

We couldn't tell you who they went to because they went to vanilla hunters, couldn't have you functioning as a seer. Silly.

Now RNG is to blame for the rest of it. You and whoever was Bobby had bad luck in that department.

You tried to get us lynched day 1, so it's a miracle we lasted that long anyway haha

I think that was the last game I was actually any use in I played

I was so amused. I had just moved in to my apartment and things were fine so I didn't check my phone while I was out with my mom getting stuff and then we got in the car and we were in lead for lynch all of a sudden

Coulda told me this partttttttt:whistle:
But she literally said in her response they didn't tell you that so you couldn't function as a seer who would know who all the vanilla hunters were as soon as they announced on thread they had gotten one of your items...

I swear if you start the bean conversation again the not chill axis is going to come out lol

Well really it's the chili axis if beans are involved, it's the not chili axis if they're not

Nope could not. Because then you could, again, function as a seer based on who received your items.

Wolves were never gonna get them anyway. They basically functioned to give the vanillas something fun to do. Except all the vanillas died very quickly lol

I feel like maybe we can't complain until we've also modded and had to try to let people have freedom while also keeping it within the rules and set up of the game :p

I mean, could have at least said once the people died that my items had gone to them. 10/10 would not have put it together.

No! All must be ruled under my iron fist!

Also I was made to complain! It's my only resume skill! Let me have this Caiter! I'm taking these extra exclamation points I found and leaving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't say ;)

There's also a wide spectrum of modding styles. Some mods will answer any questions you have, give you every little detail you want. But I learned under STL so...not likely to get that from me haha

Unless it is within their role to directly send items to people, tinkerers aren't typically told where their items are going. In this case they were going to a specific subset of players, but functionally it's the same as them being put into general circulation - it's RNG, you won't know who gets it.

You had some bad luck, but in the grand scheme of things it wouldn't have mattered if you had known that your items had gone to people who had died. Likely same result - couldn't prove their existence, people still would have wanted to lynch you.
