I should be studying, but what am I doing? Working on roles for my next ww... It should be good... really good.. I am looking forward to all the confused looks.. muhahah...

Hopefully it will be smarter than just "totally confusing." The best games are the ones that are right on that edge of penetrability. Throwing curves is good, but making it so complex that there's no point in trying to figure it out just makes for a boring game while everyone RNGs the entire game away.

I think you found the sweet spot. Right about now people really ought to understand the basic mechanics of your game. I was clearly off with most of my earlier guesses, but it's all fairly clear now, minus a few things I can't wait to hear you clarify.

It has one mechanic that I have been wanting to try... it should not be too horribly confusing, but people may not think of this right off.

WWhores was still one of the most fun games to play for me. Nice quick pace, funny, interesting, penetrable mechanics.....

the other part of that was I could evade a lynch the first time because of being in a crazy timezone no one understands. so, see, you can be a villagers and evade a lynch! it has happened before.



and for the record, favorite would be from LIS (I think) where as a wolf I could make other players investigate back as a wolf. except SOV came back as a wolf the first night and all you crazy villagers didn't lynch him! what the f!

also, I was the last wolf standing at the end of that game. so that was pretty cool too.

I made this role too! And the wolves in my game targeted SOV with it as well.

It was way too fun as a mod to watch that happen. You still almost won night 1 in our kick ass game because everyone sent you the parts you needed but 2.

Could NOT pass up a chance to make WW history and win it all on the first night (or 2... I thought it would take a couple of nights to get items away from wolves)..

That was the best! LIS and I had that thought at almost the same time... we figured he was either bluffing or there was a way to kill him and we might as well do it now.

Now that was the mods. I was supposed to take out a wolf if I was attacked, but somehow the wolves could disable my power. I didn't care if I was attacked if I took out a wolf, but to have my role taken away.. that was lame.

He was a wolf in the Stripes ww and had an alias that would show up on investigation. Well, he was not investigated and his alias seemed like a bunch of BS, so he got lynched.

The living do all the actions, and must post on the thread to convince the dead. No PMing to dead allowed. No PMing among the dead.

This keeps everyone involved in the game the entire time, so being killed early is not so bad...

And even the dead wolves can try to confuse people by voting for wolves or villagers.
