Has anyone acceptances from the Feb. 9th Glasgow interview in Boston?

I interviewed on the 7th and I have not heard anything yet.

I interviewed on the 9th and I heard back the same day. Best of luck to the both of you on hearing back soon!

I also interviewed in boston on the 9th and I heard back later that day saying I got an offer! Now i bave to decide between edinburgh or glasgow

I went to the interview in Boston and I heard back the day after. I got in, but I'm not going to accept the offer of admission because I got into Missouri (my number one choice) so that should be a spot someone else can take. Good luck to everyone. Glasgow does seem like an amazing school.

I am in the same boat as you. I loved how Joyce and Professor Evans portrayed Glasgow, and it sounds like a really great school, but I also got in the GEP program at Edinburgh. I don't know how I'm going to decide!

Has anyone who interviewed on the 7th or 8th in Boston heard back from them? I know people that interviewed on the 9th heard back the same day. Why would they make us wait so much longer?

I am starting to worry since it has been so long. I want to get in so badly.

Best of luck to everyone! :xf:

This is such a difficut decision! I have absolutly no idea how I am going to choose one. I am probably going to visit, so hopefully one school will just feel right...

I am sure you will hear back soon!! :xf:

If y'all have any questions about Glasgow/Scotland, please let me know!! 😍

Yeah, there are lots of pros for each school and I have no idea which I feel is better. I hate making decisions! Why couldn't one school reject me to make this decision-making easiler! Well, I am also planning to visit Scotland next month... this is too hard of a decision to make without seeing the schools for myself

I interviewed on the 7th, but I didn't hear back until late on the 9th. I was lurking on here, and getting worried since several people who interviewed on 2/1 and 2/2 had heard back the same day. There's still hope - I'm sure they're still going through all the applications. Good luck!

I also interviewed on the 7th and yet to hear anything. This is taking a very long time and I am becoming very very stressed over it...

I can't think of any other reason for the lack of response other than I did not get in. So far all the people that hear right away have been accepted. *sigh*

I was wondering if anyone has taken a tour? I emailed jocye wason about it but she hasn't emailed me back. I am just trying to figure out my plans for when I visit. Do they do tours of the vet school or is it just the main campus? Thanks

I was given a fantastic tour in Glasgow. Joyce organized a it so that a 1st year student took me around the whole vet campus site. I would email her again soon if she doesn't respond.

Has there been anyone else that interviewed in Boston and has not heard anything back yet? It has been two weeks since my interview and I have not heard a word. They told me they would get back to me over a week ago. 🙁

I am becoming so disheartened by this. I am assuming that no news=bad news but you would think after two weeks they would have at least sent me the rejection. I emailed Joyce to see if perhaps they sent something that I never received and she has not gotten back to me.

Awaring1, I interviewed on the 8th and have also yet to hear back. I have been too worried to email Joyce.

does anybody know what the average gpa is for glasgow?

does anybody know what the average gpa is for glasgow?

"We consider applicants from North America who have completed at least three years of a pre-veterinary degree, or a science based degree from a North American University. We would expect a cumulative average of around 70%, (3.2 GPA) and the subjects studied must include Chemistry, Biology and either Physics or Mathematics. "

That has been up since I applied---I'm not sure what the average is...I know people who have had higher and lower that have gotten in. Perhaps look in the VMSAR for a more accurate number.

Hey so I was just wondering if anyone has recieved their offical letter of an offer in the mail yet. I got an email from joyce on Feb. 9 (the day of my interview) saying that they would be sent out soon, but I still haven't gotten it.

I haven't received mine either... although I would think we should have them by the end of the week (fingers crossed). It almost won't feel real until I have the letter in hand.

Thanks I was worried it would get to my house over spring break and I would have to wait an extra week to get it, but according to last year it should come in about a week and a half
