Also, as I’ve said people throwing around village reads so early is just weird to me, but someone being willing to backpedal feels better than doubling down when someone seems suspicious to everyone. Even if that person is me.
 
Also if I’m not gonna get class rep that’s cool. Imma vote for the person who I feel more confident in my ability to read and that I think would be willing to open a Pm with me and we could do some cool pm **** if he’s elected.

Suddenly it makes sense to me why people might have been thrown off by April's joke. I definitely read that post as you asking if you'd won the game :laugh:

While I appreciate the support, it seems a bit of a moot point given Dina’s lead.

I’m okay with Dina getting elected. Aside from her getting to be a first time Mayor which I empathize with, she’s clearly a big fan of the show, so that extra knowledge might be useful.

Plus I have a hard time reading her usually so the extra scrutiny on her will help put my mind at ease.

If TME and Bread go you it’s within 1 vote with 3 people on Lupin and 1 who hasn’t voted. Why the sudden “meh it’s okay?”

It seemed Lupin made a joke about winning the class race. I got Lupin’s joke.

And you were like “nah you only win when villagers are dead” and that sounded like some shade.
I like jokes, apparently that one just went over my head and a lot of people are piling on me for it. The only reason I could see to make it after the fact is her name is “Lupin” and I wondered if you were going to respond with that, but you didnt. It sounded like a “I think you’re wolfy” kind of call out I would do. :shrug:

@Dinashadow I usually can't read you for **** (unless I go with the opposite of my instinct?), but I find your theme knowledge enticing and gung ho attitude inspiring. What will you do to capture this swing vote? How can I learn to believe in village!Dina?

@Zenge142 I am so close to a Zenge reading card I can taste it, but I see you are lacking in the background theme insight that might come in handy for a mayor. Plus, you seem to have this habit of dying in the second cycle. What can you offer in exchange for my support? What do you bring to the table?

I mean if it’s between me and Dina, I think the strongest argument for Dina is that she has a lot of knowledge about the theme which could be good for game solving. I do not know much background on the theme at all.

For me, I think the best argument in favor is that I am reliably more active on the thread and in PMs when playing. It’s not like Dina is bad at posting or anything, I just tend to frequently camp the thread and check in more often. For you personally, you can generally read me pretty well, so you might prefer to elect someone you’re good at reading, or at least better at reading.

I don’t have a specific incline towards zenge at this point. I know that I’m not great at reading either him or Dina - zenge I tend to wolf read when he’s just being bold, Dina just tends to fly under my radar

I will say that claiming “I’d never run for mayor the first time as a wolf” sounds like an easy lie for a wolf, especially if they don’t actually think they will win it. But see above about bold zenge.

as someone who as usual has not done my research on the source material, I see value in having someone who knows it well in key positions (especially if PMs are involved). Sounds like Dina has that so of the current viable wagons I lean that way, but I’m happy to hear a stronger zenge argument

Well I've never really jumped on anyone for using mechanics. Only if it's in isolation and without caution.
 
Also, I am not conceding. I would still like to be class rep, so not sure why everyone suddenly thinks they have to not vote for me. It was actually designed as a subtle push if people wanted to rethink their vote. I was combining it with I have a green Dina read, but not I am changing my vote to her. heh

I don't think it's wolfy to change your reads, I'm just noting it because it stood out to me and might be useful information later after we have some flips.

Dubz you learn to believe in village!Dina every game. You just make me work incredibly hard for it :laugh:. If activity is the issue like zenge mentioned - well this is an MHA game that I'm really excited for so I promise to be more active. Having the mayor position will hold me accountable.

I'm okay with zenge winning too. He has good reads, and if I forget the small falling out we had in CYO I'm usually on the same page as him. He would be my choice if it wasn't me. Heck if he'd actually watched MHA the many times I told him I would've considered voting for him.

I'm active in PMs too, just not with wolves I seered the night before lol

also why does everyone think that the class rep gets to PM? Are we just assuming?

Slightly but not with confidence. I will not claim to be good enough at reading anyone to have 100% confidence in anyone, and Samac was a very good wolf on her first outing. But I’ve also been inside a wolfchat with her (if only as a convert) so I just have a bit more exposure to her than others in general

as noted in my original vote though I’ve not been set on Samac, it was in part a “sorry for converting you before” vote and I am evaluating other options

I'm not basing on that especially given this is a medium size roster. I'm just looking for someone I can get a read on regardless of the gained ability.

That makes sense from you AM. I was mostly asking from the people who are talking about/voting based on a PM mechanic that could very well not exist. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something
 
I'm not about to vote Dina for mayor when I can't read her for anything. Lupin also seems to be pushing hard but same feelings there lol.

I'm a pretty good read of Zenge and he's a very strong villager, so he feels like a comfortable mayor vote over the alternatives.
