I have 4 strong letters of rec. and a strong narrative, so hopefully these will buffer the GPAs. I am also taking the GRE once more before submitting my application.
I have an interview at University of St. Augustine (St. Augustine, FL campus) on August 5th for the January 2017 classs. Anyone else got invited? or have previously interviewed with them? ANY ADVICE WILL BE SO HELPFUL 🙂

For those who are concerned about their "low" GPAs, I just want to let you know that it is possible! This is my first attempt applying to PT school and I got into my top choice school! I want to advise students to do their research on PT programs before applying. Make sure the school's goals align with your goals and will help you become the PT you envision yourself to be. All of this data and information is available on PTCAS 🙂
Thanks! I'm so nervous I hope I get in. I heard so many good things about the schoolI interviewed there in November, and was accepted for the class of 2018, but I declined my spot. The interview was super laid back... Probably depends on what professor you get for the interview. You also interview with one other applicant.
This is going to sound extremely super cliche but just believe in yourself and know that you gave it your all on paper! It's a ton of waiting and anxiety but, you'll make it through. I'm sure with your stats, you should be fine. Good luck!thank you🙂 I have a 3.41 cGPA and 3.38 pGPA (one stupid C in chemistry will never be forgotten). so this was nice to see. Any suggestions for me as I begin the process?
Retake a pre req class before you reapply. However this might be tricky given deadlines. Did you retake anything over the last year?I'm still technically on 2 wait-lists for Regis and UF, but obviously my hopes aren't high this late in the process.
With the application cycle having already started, I'm going through it again. I am planning on taking the CSCS exam within the next month.
Here are a quick run-through of my stats:
cGPA: 3.5
Pre-Req GPA: 3.33
GRE: 154V/153Q/4.0W (2nd attempt)
Hours: 1000+ ortho outpatient, 75 sports outpatient, 15 subacute, 15 acute
I had plenty of extra-currics throughout college.
What would anyone suggest for me to do, or any tips for this next cycle other than the CSCS? Anything helps, thanks!

Seconding what starrsgirl said. If you have any chance to retake a prereq or two to push your prereq GPA up, that would be your best bet. Otherwise, make sure you're looking at programs where your cGPA and Pre-Req GPA are at least close to the average accepted GPAs. CSCS might be nice, but may not help you get acceptances, and definitely won't make up for low GPAs
You will get a variety of answers but I don't think your GRE score is a factor here. Your pre req GPA is the only thing that stands out. Do you have more than 1 C? Def look to private schools with no state preference too as you apply.@starrsgirl In response to both of you: No, I have not retaken any classes as I was on 3 waitlists until May, then a program started and therefore down to the remaining 2 waitlists. I was obviously hopeful for those opportunities and didn't think it'd be worth the agony to retake chem 2 if I ended up getting accepted anyway. I did somewhat screw myself over last cycle as I live in GA and didn't apply to a single program in the state (WI, CO, FL (x2), NC, SC). Obviously it is more competitive and difficult to be accepted out of state than in-state unless it is of course a private institute. All of the programs I applied to, I was sitting right at the average stats for accepted students, if not slightly above for a select couple.
Would increasing my GRE scores by a few more points make my application more competitive?

Trying to narrow down the list and make sure I have at least some schools I have a decent chance of getting accepted to. My cum GPA is a little below average for some of these programs; hoping other stats make up for it. If anyone has knowledge of how any of these specific schools weigh different parts of the app and how this would affect my chances, I would love your feedback!
Any info regarding U Miami?
