More than one wrong read 😛 the thing that's bugging me was simultaneously shading me (who was pushing April), and zenge (who was pushing bread), while also trying to get me to doubt zenge. It feels icky.

Buuuuut I also parked you in my village reads already, so, not sure if I'll go there today.

Do you still think Alley and April couldn’t be in a pack together?

Do you have any more clarity on Sporty?

They are the main two that I’m looking at right now.

I'm not feeling alley. I don't have clarity on sporty just yet. At some point today I am going to read back over bread and April's posts and see if I can clean anything else there, but it'll have to be later.

From a quick glance at the tallies:

I agree with Sunshine that I don't see this excerpt from D2 being a w/w breakdown with her and Bread. April could have stayed on her mkg vote.

mkg (3) - April, Vis, alley
Sporty () -
Bread (4) - Zenge, mayo, Mel, Cray
mkg (2) - Vis, alley
sunshine (3) - Pippy, Sporty, April

Sporty and alley look suspicious from a voting standpoint.

Sunshine's D1 votes look bad as I've mentioned but from just looking at the naked votes, I find it hard to see why April would switch in that scenario yesterday if Sunshine was also wolf.

Mel is positioned very well in terms of voting and I'm kinda surprised he didn't die last night when he has been successfully voting for all these wolves -- while barely meeting participation minimums. His tone is also more aggressive today, which could be a result of being the only wolf left. Not sure if I want to go there today but I think that's where I would look for a busser if his reads suddenly switch from very good to very wrong.

Have to go back to afternoon appointments but I think I'm shifting Sunshine towards village for now, Dubz, Cray & Mayo are in lovely village green, Mel is in villagey-neutral with a giant * next to his name. Sporty and Alley looking kinda sketchy strictly on votes, and Visc I need to reevaluate entirely because of possible pocket.

my analysis on sunshine was based on re-reading last night knowing the bread flip, I haven't gotten a chance to re-read with the new April flip

I have been reading Pippy as village all game, but sunny has edged to the wolfy side of neutral. I do not think there’s any way they’re w/w though.

I think Sunny is compatible with April and bread, but I’d have to go back and double check.

Unvote Sunshine

For now. Still not fully convinced April wasn't trying to distance herself from sunshine, or maybe they were okay losing sunshine instead of Bread because Bread was the PR-mafia, but for now I'm okay focusing elsewhere.

based on VCA, my suspicious list is: Pippy and Sporty

since we have such a big lead, I'm okay just voting through these three today/tomorrow. Of the three I think Pippy is least likely to be scum.

Why are you giving Vis a pass based on VCA? Her last second jump onto the Bread wagon looks worse to me than Sunny's. Especially since she said she didn't want to yeet bread a few minutes prior.

I don't think she is the best place to go, but she's not cleared by VCA. I have her in my neutrals.

But there was a village option there. Why not just vote for an absent (and kinda sketchy tbh) MKG? Like they didn't need to turn it into a situation where they lost Bread or Sunshine. I don't see the motivation for that.

I was about to start theorizing about some role stuff but I think that might be too distracting.

I will say that imo having confirmation of who took the shot is useful in this game, because with an open set up, we can hard clear that person for at least an entire cycle. Other people may disagree, but if it were me, I would claim it.

If it is someone who's name has been tossed around as sus, then they should claim it for sure.

There's little downside in this set up.

Visc was voting bread D1 during RVS, and then actually voting with bread for a little bit before moving to me and ultimately to genny last minute. Its too much noticeable interaction with a packmate D1, idk if that's visc's wolfing style, but beyond that I like her reads so she's not in my top 3 at the moment.

okay yeah I agree with all of this, which basically drops my VCA suspicious list to just Sporty I guess.
 
I guess the only downside to the vig claiming (unless they're about to be yeeted) would be that the wolves would know what clear villager to take out, and we don't know if our protector is still alive.

I do think we should tag @SportPonies just in case, before we go hammering
 
I just came out of my eye surgery and I have half an eye total working and my numbness is wearing off. And the surgeon told me to go straight home (husband is driving) and lay in bed with my eyes closed for 48 hours. So I’m gonna stay on sporty unless something drastic happens.

Yeah but we would get at least a full discussion cycle with someone hard cleared. So idk, personal choice but might be worth it in this setting.
 
I’m going to be on sporadically as I still have 13 lecture videos to watch and 2 finals to take tomorrow.


I’m comfortable with the Sporty vote.
Sporty has continued to be in my POE throughout the game, but I want to give her time to defend herself before we hammer.

I think Sunny’s point about April voting her is valid. While it’s WIFOM to know for sure that wolf!April wouldn’t do that, I think Sunny is right that it doesn’t make too much sense. If we don’t get a wolf in the next day or so, I will revisit that.

I just sat in my car for 3.5 hours and re-read this entire thread.

Based on re-read, I think POE should be Alley --> Sporty --> Sunshine --> Vis --> Mel --> Cray --> Mayo --> Dubz

Upon close re-read I could see a world where Sunshine and April faked that D2 fight. Especially because Sunshine kept mentioning both April and Bread as suspect but never voted for April and only voted for Bread to save herself. It also alllllmost looks like Sunshine's post asking "how is WZ reading April" could have been a rojo. I think it would be entirely reasonable for April & Sunshine to be discussing kill choices in wolf chat, feel like Dubz should stay around because #champ, but want to make sure it wasn't going to bite them too badly. And right around that time is when April & Sunshine started going at it in the thread.

Admittedly not super likely -- I'd rather start with the other 2 who are first in the POE up there -- but possible. Sunshine's previous read on Bread was pretty lukewarm/variable and was not anchored in any particular comments, as far as I could see.

But alley has liked almost every single post of mine that April liked. So I kinda think maybe I am being kept as a pocket pet.

Your POE is largely the same as mine, but I put Vis above Sunny and slot you in above Mel.

Saying that I trust Mel almost as much as Cray, Dubz and myself makes me uncomfortable, but I think he is right.

Still, I seriously doubt we drop past V on that list.

I did also think at the time that the sunny post might have been a rojo. Mulling over the rest, particularly the alley bits.

It's bad but my brain is having a hard time accepting that the wolf pack this game would be exactly 3/4 of the wolf pack last game

Actually, two more things -

1. In rereading this entire thread, I would like to commend April because if I didn't see her name in red before I read this whole thing again, I would think that she was a villager. She had some very strong interactions with bread that were pretty accusatory, and she also was using some very solid logic for the rest of her posts imo. She did have one little maaaybe panic rojo lol (not sure if she knows what I'm referring to but it is a little bit more obvious in retrospect) but nobody is perfect 😉 Anyway, that is the type of gameplay that I really almost enjoy losing to.

Oh I mean that is the answer from AM. Hammer tonight and day starts tomorrow. Hammer after 10:00 p.m. tonight tomorrow morning and night lasts until Friday morning.

So if anyone hammers at 10:01 p.m. tonight I will murder them lol
