Hi everyone !
So I'm 2 weeks into my internship at the surgery department at a hospital. I love it, but I can't help but feel like I'm not completely getting what I want out of it.
So far, I've mostly been at the waiting room desk directing and taking people places throughout the hospital.
Do you guys have any tips on things I could do to make the most out of this experience?
I'm hoping to:
-observe some surgeries (this is confirmed)
-ask if I could assist the nurses in the recovery room (is this a reasonable request?)
And I'm not sure if there's any chance of me being of any help in the surgery room??
Any other idea of what I could do/ask to do to really benefit from this experience would be amazing! Thank you
