Paws dropped into my PM (Mods made it seem like it was because I voted for her but I think it was misleading). I told AM to see how she would react. AM suggested I try asking if there were third parties in the game.
Moot point because Paws said she didn’t know anything (or just wouldn’t tell me anything if she did know).
She’s still chillin in my role PM and we’ve been shooting the breeze. Held off talking about this on thread until I’d thoroughly investigated just in case it was info that would help wolves. After a couple days I think she’s just in the game for shiggles.


Point is, AM telling me to ask that question pretty much solidified my village read on her and her being third party didn’t cross my mind.

see OTOH, that would have made me suspicious because I feel like AM won't discuss mechanics, converts, 3rd party, until she feels like we're making good progress on OG wolves

so I'm wondering if we're headed for the territory where Mel logic breaks down. I'm trying to decide if this would have really led you to think she was village AM.

I vaguely remember Pippy confirming in another game she alerts people when theyre acted upon in her games - maybe she didnt this game but I doubt those alive that Skim acted upon just weren’t notified. I genuinely don’t believe her - jumping on bryndi would have been easy to - this feels like your trying to shade me

Lupin more village - Weim still leaning wolf

Bryndi - leaning wolfy, seems more active today - i called her lurky bc previously she was popping in but not highly participatory and I agree with the points about her VCA - I don’t have any strong reasons here

Didn’t see what everyone was finding so sketch the first day. Has been kinda off my radar the past few days. Currently assuming she’s village and Lupin was a wolf making a big deal out of nothing the first day.

Haven’t read anyone’s reasoning on her if they posted about it in the past two days. I’m just replying to tags.

you can bugger off with your “Mel logic.” It’s AM. I like to work with her. Regardless of affiliation, I’d keep her around if I had an inkling she was chaos for fun. If you don’t want to take my word for it, even Dubz said AM was playing to her village meta.

goes off on a lone vote avoiding the major wagons despite stagg (and koffee) only making her feel better about the ability portion. What happened to the former reasons? The timing of that lone vote also feels off considering it was an hour until lynch close and she had been on earlier

only mention of capri before today (that I can find as long as search was being truthful) was when I questioned her on her reasoning for her D1 vote regarding why not consider capri in the math discussion

*sigh* and how many times have people said vote for whoever you think is most wolfy? Why am I obligated to vote on a major wagon? Especially one that I didn't see the merit behind. You can dislike my voting later in the day all you like, when I'm trying to decide between multiple people who are about equal in sketch I wait until I make a firm decision instead of waffling all over the place.

I'm not as active as I would normally be but I've already stated that's because of finals so don't expect that to change. I still wouldn't consider myself to be a lurker though

This bit about Mel logic is really like a huge compliment, and if you don't see it that way, bugger off. It also happens to be a decent way that I've caught you in the past. Not saying I've never mislynched you. Just, like I think it's a fair question if I believe that village-you would really find that particular point on AM to be so village.

Also, a lot of us play to win. A lot of us invest a lot of time to make the game challenging by doing our best for our team, be it proper lynches or cold murder. Villagers keeping 3rd parties around, especially ones with kill powers ffs when their true agenda can't be known, just because you have a little clique, is weak sauce.

I'm not the most amazing villager in the world, I do lots of things that are sketch, and if we made a point of lynching a villager for every way they violate the rules of good villaging, I'm sure I'd have a lot of crow to eat. That said, there's a lot of bad villaging that I'd like to see us lynch on principle. Mislynches and dead villagers will happen no matter what, I for one wouldn't mind punishing some of this very clearly anti-village play. Even people just espousing how much they love these heinously bad village moves should be discouraged.

If we're going to lose the game, I'd rather it be because we made a point of punishing crap that will hopefully get people to make choices for the whole team in the future. I get WW is supposed to be fun, but I guess I'm arguing that I'm not sure a lot of people will appreciate the fun of the few outweighing the good of village.

I'm not convinced she's village. I have no feelings there at all. So I'm not going to tie it up, or push her lynch unless someone can give me a reason to.

I'm also not going to vote to save myself if I'm going to keep being a distraction to the village.

So you aren't sure bryndi is village, but will let yourself die even though you KNOW you are? That doesn't make any sense to me.

this reads as extremely as buddying up (where wolves attempt to buddy up to a villager, is not exactly synonymous with pocketing as far as terms go, it's one of many techniques used to pocket)

what's strange is how we've had two rezzes as well, I don't know if that's to balance the extra kills, we had a chaos with extra kills, and a villager with kills, it's a lot of kills

I don't know if the rezzer is a human (NOT trying to fish here) it's more that I'm wondering if there's a resurrection mechanics, sorta like the game that shall not be named, rezzes are not always the work of a single player's ability, it can be items, it can be something unlocked by various events, etc

maybe this is unfruitful NKA, and I'm not trying to convert hunt, but yeah, I guess I'm just doing my worthless PbPa (one of my little mafia wiki articles said it was next to useless technique 🙁 ) and I think it's relevant to consider kill and rez mechanisms as far as keeping my eye on the rezzes and what all this might be a clue for affiliation

also, 1 hr to deadline and 8 pages behind. Balls.

kara and lupin were both on capri's lynch, and she flipped wolf.

skimble was revealed as an ability mimic. we've already got a dead village ability seer, does the village also need an ability mimic?
bj has been sketch city in my opinion.

I feel like I will continue to be a distraction if I live.

I'm voting for the person I find most wolfy at this time. I have asked for reason's to vote bj, but I'm not going to tie it up and risk possibly two villagers dying.

My schedule is going to be crazy again starting on Monday, so maybe it's better for me to die, so you can all concentrate on finding the real wolves. Sometimes it's better to sacrifice yourself for the benefit of your "team"/faction.

This is what's currently worrying me, it feels too much like she's hoping skim will go down and she can barely get by without much aggressive defending

Skim has certainly been trying to defend at the very least, and while she's still a question I'd like to see answered it is making me feel better about her than bryndi atm

mutt manager has more than once extolled the virtues of Ski, ski doesn't seem to be equally in love

I'm reading muttmanager as the wolf buddying up to ski in this scenario, it feels w/v but it could be w/w, I just think it's less likely that wolfy ski would let wolf cub mutt buddying her so much on the open thread, but WIFOM anything is possible

I have more thoughts on mutt, about how I could be biased or I question if as a wolf he would be able to put this much thought into some of what they're saying, which is why I haven't pulled the trigger there yet, if someone else I lean village on makes a better case then I would feel more confident moving forward on them, as it would provide maybe less charged confirmation on my suspicions

I'm not doing that thing where I read each page moving *backwards* while also still keeping up with new posts... it's gonna be confusing but I'm trying to absorb as much as I can as we get closer to deadline

now I am very confused, because you quoted a post by cubs about me, and said that it sounded like a wolf buddying up. but you meant to talk about mutts and ski, not me and cubs?
