Yeah, although I will say with that church that the issue was primarily with this particular Confirmation teacher, who is still to this day one of the craziest people I've ever met. The priests were for the most part awesome and terrifically understanding

I went to ISU. Like many of my classmates, pigs were my highest category. I never ever in a million years want to work with pigs.
Pigs kicked my arse. It was like, yup, adequate. Then WTF is wrong with you??? For that percentage. haha

I have a feeling that chickens are going to be my worst category on NAVLE. I basically know about Marek's disease and that's it lol
It killed me in that particular class in third year too. I was almost at a perfect semester, then came the piggies.
We had an elective pig class this semester and I'm glad I took it. The professor who teaches it is a hilarious and gifted teacher who had a ton of great mnemonics for remembering things like rule outs for pig diarrhea
So, I actually want to own 3 kune kune pigs one day. They will be named Wilbur, Fern and Charlotte. They will also have a vet that isn't me. 🤣
I'd ask you to send them to me, but... I honestly no longer care! Pig poop is no longer something I need to worry about.

Another funny story... I was chatting with my clin path prof and he was telling us about the oral exams that used to be done for licensing, and he came to the food animal part and was asked about the weight of a new born pig. I gave my answer for that, then he laughed, said he went a little lower, and the practitioner laughed at him for his answer. I felt like the failure I was in that moment. Haha

I mean, I LOVE cats, but, I just don't think I'd be happy seeing only cats. I need more variety in my life. That's why I want to be a vet and not a human doctor. Real doctors treat more than one species, right?!But cats!
Honestly, I would be so super honored if cheese liked me. And I'd happily be his vet.
We did a pre-NAVLE practice exam in spring semester 3rd year. They sat us all down and talked about how we always have the best school scores on pigs, and kind of hinted that we shouldn't be the class that lets the whole school down. So we practiced pigs a lot.
And what's wrong with being a cat vet??? I would do feline-only if it was possible in my area.
He is suspiciously nice at all of his veterinary visits, so he would almost definitely be a huge sweetie to you if you were ever in the position to be his kitten mechanic 😀
