And then I re-read the mod post and realized this whole “elect” thing is something real and not some cute way of saying “lynch” — we’re actually electing a Mayor. Oops. Anyways, Wiki says a Mayor is someone who doesn’t vote but has vote veto power; am I missing anything else?

Wait you were trying to lynch me? That makes way more sense! No real sense because you literally have no reason to lynch me, but someone always tries me D1. Good to know some things never change. You are sketch to me friend.

What an eventful day. Who knew electing a tracker could be so difficult. Campaigns were launched (and maybe a cow too), arguments were started, and a fist fight broke out. Seems the tour group could not decide who to elect tracker. In the end they approached KD and KB with 3 options. They looked at each other and back to the group shaking their heads.

"We gave you one task, elect the one among you who would become the tracker and lead us to the greatest finds on the safari. You have failed to do that leaving us to choose one of these three. Not sure you'll like the results."

They looked at each other, a sly look in their eye and then pointed to one of the 3. Upon pointing, lightning struck killing one of the 3. Once the lightning cleared, there was only the body of a greater kudu. This gentle animal who is prized for it's large, curved horns. The tour group glanced around startled for not only did their tour guides seem to command lightning, one of their own was dead.

KD and KB glanced at each other and then pointed to one of the remaining candidates. This candidate stood frozen to the spot while the tour group looked on frightened. But nothing seemed to happen. It seems Finimal (@Animal Midwife / @finnickthedog ) was safe from whatever wrath had been stoked.

Now the final candidate stood trembling. Would @SportPonies be safe or would she face the lightning. KD and KB pointed for a final time. "This one will do just fine. Sporty should be able to navigate us on this Safari Adventure. Now load up. We've wasted enough time."

I enjoy modding, but when I come home to 88 pages of thread, 1066 PMs....and then a last second tie? C’mon, that’s not funny. It’s coming across as we don’t appreciate you planning these games, we just want to **** with you.

A mod is exactly that, a moderator. You are playing, not me. Leaving the option in my hands is not the point. and plus, you give all my co mods and baby modlets serious anxiety.

It seems despite the slow start of an election ending in a tie things were off to a roaring start last night. Now that there was a tracker, the safari adventure could really getting rolling. Nothing much was seen which was really disappointing. As the sun started to rise, the tour guides decided to stop, take a break, and get a head count. As people started filing out of the vehicle, they realized at least one was missing. Where was skim? They searched around the vehicle until Sporty, the new tracker found footprints. When they got to the end of the trail, all they found was the body of a black rhino who had been ravaged by claws. Seems the black rhino were one more rhino closer to extinction.

As everyone was mourning the loss of skimble, a familiar face rejoined the group. Everyone looked up and their tears of mourning turned to tears of joy.

Seems Dubz is exhausted from her resurrection. She may need a day to recover.

You'd think that would be the last of the news from the night but it was quite the busy night. Seems someone else was missing and it wasn't until after everyone returned to the vehicle they realized genny had not been with them when they searched for skimble. So off they went again, Sporty leading the way. This time tracking was harder but she somehow managed. But when the trail ended where was genny? It took getting down on hands and knees to realize the dung ball was missing it's dung beetle. Seems some poaching took place. Not sure what value there was in a dung beetle but it seems someone saw value there.

Night kills. The fact that there were 2 night kills on top of WZ death seems excessive this early and that's why I feel it's probably not coincidence and is probably related to the tie. However I know it is early and although I feel it's probably not a coincidence I know that there could be other things at play.

I think that Mixy lynching Mel is sort of like me always being wary of Coop -- from what I understand, the 3 way tie had nothing to do with genny or skimble? I think the mods got pissed and killed WZ, but then felt bad when she said that was rude so she was either auto-rezzed by game mechanics (i.e. mods?) or someone rezzed her.

I think D2 on wards is when people start talking more/making mistakes in timelines and things that they should or shouldn't know and how they get caught out.

Because they still have results they can share with us. Even if the rez’d PR has a target on their back, we don’t know if there is a protector that can defend them. If there is a wolf blocker, they’d be forced to block the outed PR and therefore confirm to the group there is a wolf blocker. If the Rez is also converted then the PR would have to play to village’s end game or be outed as the convert. There is just a better strategical advantage to rez’ing a PR (especially in this situation where our Seer died night 1).

But, to humor you... my initial impressions are based on what I know of players, not of how the players are in this specific game, which is not really helpful and honestly just my own anecdotal observations:

I'm sure once Jboo has had a few glasses of wine and the uninhibited gifs and memes start rolling in, she'll slip up and will be easier to assess sketch level
Coop... has been riding your coat-tails with follow up comments like "yeah I wanna know that from staffy, too" and "you're sketch, my friend" to keep me under fire, but let's be honest, rafiki, she'll come into her own and rip me apart shortly enough with those razor sharp teeth. I think she's sketchy but that's my own bias coming into play.
Mel... is an eye roller at noobish behavior, so he has been quiet so far I suppose, but he is also waiting in the shadows to rip some peeps apart. Surprised he hasn't jumped on me either, yet. Dangerous as village fighter; frightening as wolf killer (this is actually how Mel should be introduced in WW games). Basically, sketch six ways to Sunday.
You -- your methodical page by page investigation is fun to watch when other people start sweating bullets when the AM spotlight hits them. I, though, just get bristly when you pull that on me. Also, not enough meta data to know the variances between village you or wolf you while you go about your inquisitioning. Which, incidentally, makes you a good possible vote for tonight.

Rezzing dubz was a smart move, rez early and often, especially if you have more than one rez. Dubz is a good player and adds value to the game. If they wait for a PR they could die first.

Not saying out of character. Like I don't mind ties for lynches, but for mayor I didn't feel it was necessary and perhaps now we are paying the price for it. Plus overall ties often benefit wolves rather than village most of the time and I could see wolves tying it up in hopes of getting villagers killed off. As for others not breaking the tie-maybe they weren't around like I wasn't.

The only problem I have with #1 is that I don't see any way wolves could have ability seered, gotten results, and then chosen a kill target based on those results all in one night cycle.

I could see #2 since Genny is generally a strong player, but she also could have been a good meat shield for wolves since she's Always A Wolf™.

#3 seems like a stretch unless it was a vig kill, but even then doesn't seem smart to use a vig kill on N1 when information about who is a wolf is not much better than a dartboard throw.

Gonna stick with Genny being a lucky wolf kill.

lynch YK because I have feels. No solid evidence; at best, I can say that it feels like she plays how I played noob woof in vet clinic. Inconspicuous comments mostly. I probably would've skimmed over them if she hadn't mentioned the mayor role thing.
