Rubella is not the answer because in developed countries, the infants are presumably immunized with the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella). As for your second question, the answer is typhoid, because Salmonella typhi is able to live dormant in a carrier's gallbladder for many years. Though the carrier may be asymptomatic, the virus is still be shed constantly through the carrier's feces, potentially infecting others. Hope this helps.

Plz answer these Qs:

i do not see ur answers except for gastritis.
did you answer anyother questions too??
my answers are next to some questions
but how obstructive jaundice, cause malabsorption of protein?
i agree with you on vitamin and fat but protein?

Plz answer these Qs:

which muscle is crossed by lingual artery --Not clear ant or post?
Hyoglossus Ant. Styloglossus Post ?

what is anterior to ethmoidal sinuses
Nasal bones ?

how many unpaired sinuses are there
One - Sphenoidal Sinus

where does orthokeratinised epitheliun found in mouth
Mostly Hard Palate. Also on gingiva.

what type of collagen is found in blood vessels
Type 3 and 1

what type of pencillin do you use for gram negative bacteria
Third generation - Ampi/Amox

what type of collagen do you find in sclera
Type 1

a) hypothalamus - produces controling factors of pituitary hormones.
b) pititary - ACTH
Adrenal cortex is not given

which is the most common site for dental procedure leading to hematoma

Open to corrections..........

ok, got ur answers. well elmos, answer is not obstructive jaundice . also if there was a choice cystic fibrosis, then that could have been the naswer but for proteins I have found that it is crohns disease only. AND TROPICAL SPRUE WITH VITAMINS MALBASORPTION.
LOOKING FOR MORE INFO...

i am confused . i am still checking.
my answers are next to some questions
but how obstructive jaundice, cause malabsorption of protein?
i agree with you on vitamin and fat but protein?

@ drdds3
unpaired sinuses ---------tentorial sinus and shpenoidal sinus ..(ANSWER)
paired paranasal --Frontal and Ethmodal.

Correct me if iam wrong !!

Note : in this quest. as i understand it didnt specify where ,,so i mention them in general!! ; )

there's 2 sphenoid sinus The two sphenoidal sinuses (or sphenoid) contained within the body of the sphenoid vary in size and shape; on wikipidia

Please explain

1) when streptococci are growing on glucose as carbon and energy source in an unbuffered medium, which is likely to occur in culture medium?

1) elevated ph
2)lowered ph
3)production of gas
4) production of maltose
answer given is lowered PH BUT HOW?????
Streptococcus is facultative anaerobe and acidogenic. So cause fermentation using glucose and produce lactic acid. This decreases ph.

2) COMPETITIVE INHIBITON best describes the desired effects in

1)opsonization- antigen/antibody binding to promote phagocytosis

2) phagocytosis - follows opsonization leading to engulfing of antigen, phagosome formation, release enzymes from lysosome which react to cause cellular degradation.

3) tuberculin reaction - antigen/antibody hypersensitivity reaction.

4)allergic densensitisation - enzyme/substrate/inhibitor (drug)reaction. Inhibitor competes with substrate for the active binding site of free enzyme. Inhibits the enzymes that cause allergy and host response is desensitized.

5)first set graft reaction - antigen/antibody hypersensitivity reaction.

This is my understanding.....

answer given is allergic densisitzation..but how??

one more just wanna confirm that paraneoplastic syndrome of hyperparathyroidism is related to SCC right... or oat cell carcinoma???
I THINK oat cell is related to ACTH /ADH
Yes... Easy way to remember is:
o a t - (Small cell carcinoma) - produce ACTH/ADH

Squamous Cell Carcinome (SCC) - produce PTH like hormone.

just an observation as it was in one of released exams..
Regarding the paraneoplastic syndrome also remember, that the oat cell carcinoma of lung gives rise to ACTH and ADH like hormones while the oat cell carcinoma of ovary gives rise PTH like hormone

unpaired snuses are superior saggital sinus, inferior sagittal sinus, straight inus and occipital sinus.

thanks for sharing the info about oat cell carcinoma of ovary

just an observation as it was in one of released exams..

Most of the antibodies in the body that act against bacterial antigens are produced by:

a)B lymphocytes
b)plasma cells

ans given is plasma cells, but i thought its b lymphocytes.plasma cells will act only when there is a second infection right?so most antibodies must be produced by b lymphocytes, right?am i getting confused with such a simple question?
please help
thanks

what type of pencillin do you use for gram negative bacteria
Third generation - Ampi/Amox--this is penicillin so do u mean third generation of cephalosporin

third generation of cephalosporins are separate group comprising of cephtriaxone, cephataxime, and cephixime.

Pn generations can be aptly divided as
1 Pn G
2 Pn V
3 Ampicillin & amoxicillin
4 antipseudomonal Pn.
5 Penicillinanase resistant

Thanks for all ur answers.
Few more below:

If condyle is fractured at neck still it receives blood supply from which artery? (Feeder arteries is not in options. Plz can anyone tell this with explanation)
mainly it is sup temporal artery --> post. if that is interrupted following # of condyle, then middle meningeal--> ant. and internal maxillary--> inferiorly, will provide the supply..
else deep auricular/ascending pharyngeal / ant tympanic .
hope one of the option are from these.
Otherwise what about condyle marrow spaces?? is that an option

What is the microscopic term used to describe fungal infection: mycosis

IgG is broken down to Fc and Fab by which enzyme(Options were of digestive enzymes) dont know this

What is the attachment of jejunum and ileum (is the answer posterior abdominal wall) is the answer mesentry, as these are peritonial organs.

Deficiency of oxaloaceticacid leads to
a. increase cori cycle
b. increase ketone body synthesis, how would it, ??
c. increase krebs cycle
d. decrease gluconeogenesis, answer..

Sphingosine is synthesized from which aminoacid? serine
( coz its made from palmitoyl coA and serine as precursors.

What is the effect of acetylcholine on erector pili muscle?

I am confused coz according to the neurotransmitter it should be a parasympathetic response , therefore relaxation of the hair shaft , but again, it isn't supplying this muscle as this muscle has only sympathetic supply , which wud release norepinephrine.
👍

pls correct if iam wrong !!!
:xf:
@wdent

For TMJ--> it is the deep temporal nerve and massetric nerves, which give accessory nerve supply in addition to the main auriculotemporal nerve. they have asked the blood supply in the Qn.

and the second Qn, how will ketone bodies really be increased, can you please explain.

E. Urea :Answer

2)in group func occlusion of 1 side if canines are taken out what happens?
Teethie is right.
Load on posterior teeth would increase as on this side it is no more a canine protected occlusion during laterotrusion. Leading to wearing down of cusps.

3)how can u increase incisal guidance? By decreasing the overjet and by increasing the overbite both of which increase the incisal guidance angle.

thanks in advance !!

let me know the correct answers if you have them.
