Anyone have any guess on when the next round of acceptances will come out?
 
I was just offered an interview! I am a first time applicant and this is my first interview. The only date it let me choose was September 9th. I am so nervous, any tips? I am applying for fall, does anyone know what this process might look like?

Congrats on your interview!
The interview process with LMU was great! They are so nice and it felt very conversational. Remember to practice basic interview type questions - someone posted a great resource earlier on in this forum (( I think - Don't quote me )). Most importantly though, be yourself and try to relax! You're going to do great!

Can you explain the format of the interview more? Is it just you talking or a group of students? is it to the admissions committee?

LMU makes u sign a contract that you do not share the details of your interview with other prospective students but I can tell you that it is very relaxed compared to other more formal interview structures and you will be put into several “stations” with various questions or scenario in each. You are not with a group
 
Have anyone that interviewed on 7/29 for LMU hear back yet?
 
Did anyone who received an offer defer until Spring 2026?

Same here. I was suprised they only gave one date to choose from. With such short notice

Congrats on your interview! I had the same thing happen to me where it only let me choose the 9th.
 
Submitted my application 8/29, CASPER was received 9/10 and got an invite interview on 9/10 a few hours after!
 
Has anybody received an interview invite not on the same day that their casper was received? Mine was received yesterday and I’ve been hearing that most people who had their scores sent yesterday as well also got their interview invite same day. I’m feeling discouraged since I did not receive anything :/

I think it depends when you submitted your VMCAS app. I have also seen from previous years their interview invites are typically extended on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I submitted my app 9/1 and they received my CASPER the day I submitted my supplemental essay but I took the CASPER the 21st of July. I have only seen people who applied in August receive interview invites so far. I hope we hear soon!!!
 
Did you guys receive an email when LMU received your Casper? My acuity insights account says results delivered and I have already interviewed but I never received any confirmation that LMU got my Casper.

I applied & was verified in August and i’ve seen comments from people who applied after me offered interviews. I’m hoping that i’ll hear something tomorrow then!

I got an email from them when they received my Casper, I would double check that they received it.
 
Hello everyone! Can someone let me know if LMU replaces grade retakes or averages them? TIA!

Has anyone who applied for fall only gotten an interview offer yet? Their website said fall interview invites start in mid September but I’m getting a little paranoid about it 😅

i wouldn't be too worried yet if you only applied for fall! i applied for spring and fall back in june and STILL haven't heard a thing
 
Question- I applied for the fall cohort on 8/26 and was offered an interview today.

I’ve heard that LMU will offer people a spot in the January cohort if they have a spot available even if you indicated that you were applying for fall. Is that true?

This is true. I applied for Fall only and I was offered a spot for the January cohort even though I still had outstanding pre-reqs, which is why I was able to defer to this upcoming January.

Okay. So…my IS would be half the cost, and they don’t give decisions until December and then waitlist of course would be well beyond that. So if LMU would offer me a spot for Jan, are you saying I could defer it to August? Not trying to count chicks I swear! Just want to know what to expect and I guess manifest a little too.

From my experience, they will not let you defer till August 2025. They will only allow you to defer till the following year, i.e., your first semester will be Spring 2026 instead of Spring 2025.
