Does anyone know how much the OOS waitlist tends to move?

I’m a bit confused, do they start pulling off the waitlist right away and just assign numbers to people who are left after the deadline? Or do they pull after the deadline all together?

For this graphic does the “applicants who received offers” number include those from the waitlist?

I’m wondering this same thing. Does anyone know their process?

that’s the number of people originally offered and then those pulled off the waitlist. it doesn’t include the full waitlist because not everyone gets pulled

I emailed them, they said they make calls to someone as soon as someone declines a seat, so they do not wait until after the deadline to pull applicants from the waitlist. 🙂
In their email they said that waitlist numbers won’t be determined until April 15th though? So how does that work? 😳

Hello! 🙂 How soon were you able to apply for the scholarship?
They send out a form during the summer and it’s very generalized. Then they assign them based on requirements for each scholarship. They are more internal matching then outward requirements for example an interest in large animal.

It sounds like scholarships were sent without having to apply to any

This is my third cycle and I’m waitlisted to five schools 😭 what are the chances of me getting off at least one damn
I feel this 😭 fourth time applicant, and I am on three waitlists. One of those being my instate at spot #2. I am accepted to Ross but I think I am declining because I just do not think it’s for me so I’m risking a 5th cycle. I am spiraling lmao.

Almost everyone gets a scholarship from the program of various amounts. I got a $3k scholarship my first year
That’s a bummer for me lol I’m currently a first year and didn’t get a scholarship and I know of only 1 person from my friend group that did.

Wishing the best for the both of us 🥺 you’re going to be an amazing doctor

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. There many more opportunities for scholarships through out the time at the CVM.
