Congrats everyone!!! Would anyone be able to re-send the discord link plssss 😁🫶🏼
Someone shared the discord for your class above. Check the CVM Facebook group for roommates or potential housing suggestions.Hi everyone! I am new to SDN and also recently accepted OOS! Was waitlisted last cycle so totally can relate to others experience here. Super psyched though to meet everyone in August! Anyone here know if there is a chat or platform dedicated to future class? Never been to MI so trying to find housing and potential future roommate. TIA!
Last year I was OOS waitlisted (#23 then #15) and did not get off. Only 8 more seats were made available before class closed but the list started to move after national deadline. I think movement amount varies every year. But I can totally relate to the limbo and frustrations of being waitlisted for sure. Stay strong! 🙂Does anyone know how much the OOS waitlist moved last year?
That’s so depressing to hear omg you were so close 😭😭😭😭Last year I was OOS waitlisted (#23 then #15) and did not get off. Can totally relate to the struggle of waiting and frustrations of working so hard but coming up empty handed. It was soooo hard for me to not take the rejections and the waitlist personally (even though logically I knew it was matter of splitting hairs at the end of the day). The application process is not for the faint of heart and imo isn't something that anyone can make sense of. I always told people when they asked me about it that it was liking throwing darts being blind-folded in a dark room and trying to hit bulls-eye. I don't know how people do it who have applied 3 or more times because I was so beside myself after the first cycle especially because none of the schools I applied to could give me feedback. I knew straight out of undergrad that I needed a few gap years to get experience but thought really had shot last year. My point being don't give up or lose hope. Your time will come and it will happen when it is supposed to. There are lot of things I can say even now looking back that make me weirdly relieved I didn't get in on my first cycle. If you have any questions or just want to chat, my DM is open! Stay strong and you got this! 🙂That’s so depressing to hear omg you were so close 😭😭😭😭
I think waitlist ranks come out 16th, not the 15th!Decision day and waitlist ranks tomorrow! Good luck everyone!!
Yes you should be getting something I think. With a formal white coat ceremony during 3rd year There will be more information on d2L!Does anyone know any info on if incoming students are getting a white coat ceremony?
So I emailed them the day they sent out decisions, I asked if they wait until after the deadline to extend more offers or if they offer as vacancies occur pre-deadline. They told me they start making offers right away as vacancies occur so these are probably positions after the first wave. They haven’t made any offers off the waitlist as far as we know right?
I wonder if these are our positions after the first wave has been offered or if these are our positions from the start

I believe that I saw earlier in this thread a student that currently goes to MSU posted that OOS moved 20-30 last year. I could be wrong but I feel like that was posted in here somewhere. I believe last year they followed the same process of releasing rankings after the deadline. I cannot find much info on waitlist movement from the past few years 😣 so it’s hard to gauge what movement typically looks like.Ah let’s hope people waited til the last minute so we see more movement after today
Hey so I can't speak into the year before but I was waitlisted last year. It didn't move terribly too much tbh (#23 to #15 so I never got off) but you never know what might happen. I can totally relate to the limbo. It's the absolute worst. Keep staying strong ya'll! My DM is open for anyone who has questions or just wants to chat! 🙂#7 OOS. How much does the waitlist usually move?
Last year they automatically gave us updates but it didn’t move muchDo they update us automatically on our waitlist numbers if they change or do we have to reach out? I think I saw someone mention that they update us via email if it changes?
Damn were you OOS or IS?Last year they automatically gave us updates but it didn’t move much
I just declined my seat yesterday so I hope someone hears good news soon.
ahh I feel you. did you get accepted anywhere else , also please update us if you get an offerAlright I’m losing my minddddd let me in I’m begging!!😭 (IS #1)
I will definitely update first thing. I did not get in anywhere else so this is my last chance lolahh I feel you. did you get accepted anywhere else , also please update us if you get an offer
Some offers were made off the waitlist before we were assigned numbers on the 15th. Those people have until the 29th to decide if they want the spot. When I emailed them on the 15th, they told me that their deadline is the 29th. I was very confused by this and never received clarification lol
OOS pulled off the waitlist and accepted! super stoked! can anyone resend the discord or facebook page?
Does the in state waitlist move much? Is anyone who got accepted in state declining?
Is anyone instate planning to decline?
Is there anyone deciding on an in state offer right now? I wonder if the in state waitlist will move at all
hey is anyone here IS waitlist #2, and do you plan to accept if you get an offer or are you committed elsewhere
has anyone asked if either waitlist is close to closing?
I am coming from a place of love and understanding when I say this, and I know us old people get on you guys about this every year, but...: Hang in there and be patient. There is nothing you can do at this point other than wait and consider working on your stuff for the next cycle (which I recommend, just in case).I wonder how many ppl are deciding for in state, that will let us gauge if this waitlist has any chance of moving . The fact that waitlist closed on May 15th last year freaks me out
Congrats!!!IM IN!!!!
