It took a week for me. I think it varies though. For those of you that have already interviewed, how long did they say it will take to hear back?

I think it took two weeks for me to hear back, because they were waiting for their next set of interviews. So it may only take a week for you.For those of you that have already interviewed, how long did they say it will take to hear back?
For those of you that are accepted, have you thought about housing? I've been accepted but live in North Carolina so i'm still waiting to hear from my instate school, but not sure what I'm going to do about housing if I end up going to Midwestern.
Thats awesome, if I end up in Arizona I definitely plan to rent a house, I think in the long run it can be cheaper as long as you get roommates. Plus its more comfortable! My friend is actually in the first class, and she is renting a house with a few other girls. that's a great idea because cau are more likely to be able to have pets in that kind of situation 🙂
I interviewed last Wednesday and found out this Monday. For those of you that have already interviewed, how long did they say it will take to hear back?
I think they keep doing interviews until the class is full. It might not be the last.Does anyone know if 2/24 is for sure the last interview date? I received an interview wait list letter back in September and still haven't heard back from them 😢
Wow! That seems fast! It's nice that they won't keep us waiting around for an answer.I interviewed last Wednesday and found out this Monday.
I believe the admissions committee meets every 2-3 weeks so all the interviews held before their meeting get reviewed all at once, at least that's the impression they gave. My interview just happened to fall a few days before they met🙂Wow! That seems fast! It's nice that they won't keep us waiting around for an answer.

There is a presentation and tour of the school. Guests are welcome. Was there a presentation about the school on the interview day? Has anyone brought a parent or SO? I'm not getting the feeling from the interview emails that a guest is not invited to attend.
I'll be there on the 24th and wanted to hike as well! I'm interested to see what people have to say. I'm renting a car while I'm there. I'm from Ohio and we have quite a lot of snow right now so I'm excited to feel some warmth next week!Just arrived a few days early for my interview on Tuesday! Did anyone hike at all while they were here? I don't have a car so I'm looking for places in the Glendale area (staying at Drury)...
I went to the Sonoran Desert Preserve today and it was gorgeous! Only a few miles from my hotel/Glendale so even using a taxi it was only ~$15. I hiked for about 5 miles and even though it's close to the city, the hills make it so that once you're on the other side of them, you could be in the middle of the desert.I'll be there on the 24th and wanted to hike as well! Still waiting to hear back from my instate school so I probably wont put a deposit down until end of March unless I get into NCSU. However, I definitely need to start finding places to stay, and roommates!Has anyone put in a deposit yet?
What trail did you hike? I hope your interview went well!!I went to the Sonoran Desert Preserve today and it was gorgeous! I am going to start looking for places to live during May. I don't know which pets I will bring with me but I know for sure I will bring my parrot.Still waiting to hear back from my instate school so I probably wont put a deposit down until end of March unless I get into NCSU. I didn't recieve any ethical questions, they just basically asked me questions about my work, why I want to be a vet, what I like to do, etc.Does anyone have an update on the kind of questions they were asked? I know some schools are asking some pretty difficult ethical and "what would you do in this situation" questions.
I plan on putting my deposit down next week.Has anyone put in a deposit yet?
I may put my deposit down sometime early MarchI plan on putting my deposit down next week.

I did the same hike today! It was beautiful! Thanks for recommending it!I started at the Desert Vista Trailhead and took Hawk's Nest to the Dixie Mountain Loop, went up the summit trail, retraced my steps to return to the Valle Verde trail, then took Desert Tortoise back to Hawk's Nest and finished were I started. Originally I started further back on the Dixie Mountain Loop but it was much less traveled and there were a lot of bees all over ground so I was worried about stepping on a ground hive. So, I went back to the road and walked to the trailhead where there were a few more people and a lot fewer bees around!
Is your prerequisite chart under Accepted Student Checklist? I interviewed on 2/17 (typo in last post). I had entries in the Accepted Student Checklist before I received the official acceptance letter. The letter was emailed the next day.For anyone that interviewed the week of 2/17, didn't they say we would hear back this Monday (2/23)? My portal got updated to show my pre-requisite chart but nothing else. Has anyone from that interview group heard any news good or bad?
Lots of applicants haven't heard yet. From what I can tell, I'm the only one on SDN who interviewed on the 17th who has heard. It's still very early for Midwestern, I think. My pre-requisite chart is under the applicant checklist but not the accepted applicant checklist...it says I am missing 2 credits of math but that is because I am taking the course right now which they know. Does this mean I am not accepted? 🙁
I am trying to be part of the Facebook page but cant get in. Any Help?
I am also putting in my deposit on Monday. I cant wait to get vet school started!!!!!!
Also, where will everyone else be coming from? I will be from NY, and because we have many pets, we gotta drive. Any other cross-country movers?
I will also be coming from New York, I will be bringing my parrot with me and don't think his cage would fit in the car so we will probably take a plane.
Oh lucky! (and yay another New Yorker 🙂 city or upstate? - I won't miss the cold.) Its about a 5 hour flights vs. 36 hour drive![]()
I am a 10 minute drive from Manhattan. What part of NY are you from
Brooklyn. About 45 min subway ride from Manhattan - Haven't learned to drive yet![]()
I never learned how to use the subway system. I am afraid to get lost using the subway so I stick to driving. Maybe you can teach me how to use the subway and I can teach you to drive.
Yea I'm going to have to lease a car when I get there. Can't wait to get to the warm weather.😱 Subway system is the greatest thing about New York City. 😀 Well, that and the restaurants. Haha, deal - It looked like I'll need a car in Glendale...
