Any of you attending the "Why MN" days March 9-10?
I am attending! I was accepted to the Public Health Administration and Policy program. Will you be there as well?

in at HSPH!!!!!! Yes yes yes! So psyched right now!
MPH in HCM.
I'll add my stats later.
I don't even know how to put my feelings into words but.... I was accepted to Yale!!!!! This is my #1 and with my stats I thought it might be a reach for me. Grades and GRE aren't everything! I put so much thought and time into my SOP and I really feel like my goals align with those of Yale.
Waiting on two more schools: Michigan (interview in March) and Columbia but at this point I am extremely content!
I also applied in early November! But I called after I also got the "2-3 week" answer by phone and it had been 5 weeks and I was informed that each department has their own admissions committee, which calmed me down. I applied to Health Policy as my first choice and I know there hasn't been much action about that on here at all so I've been stressing less. What department did you apply to?Yeah, I applied in early November so I am pulling my hair out. Also waiting on Columbia and the University of Michigan.
Congrats!!! That's great news! What department did you get in?I don't even know how to put my feelings into words but.... I was accepted to Yale!!!!! Wow, congrats to you as well! Did you hear back just now?

Just saw your acceptance, congrats!! Now you have me on edge again! Ahh
I'm sorry to hear that! Are you awaiting other schools?Rejected at UPenn. Just glad I finally heard back.
It's ok, didn't know too much about their program. I'm still waiting on the last ones: UCB, UCI, and Columbia. I'm thinking about applying to USC, they just added a new EH track.I'm sorry to hear that! Are you awaiting other schools?
Congrats!!! That's amazing!!Me too! So excited and completely shocked!
Rejected at UPenn. Just glad I finally heard back.
Same here. I think the program is heavily geared towards Med students and dual degree students...so it makes sense..oh well it is what it is....
Is anyone else between Emory and Hopkins? I guess Colorado is in the mix too, granted they give me a fellowship, but I'm not counting on it!
Do you know anything else about their program? I've been able to find exactly nothing talking about UPenn on here.
Hopefully you get off the waitlist! If it helps, I'm going to reject my offer (going to UC Berkeley most likely), hopefully it goes to you! You said you were from california, just wondering why you didn't consider Berkeley and UCLA (in-state tuition!) MPH programs?
I will have 3 yrs by the time I enroll- and it looks like there are about 10 students in SM2 program (based on the website and who they have listed as current students- but I'm not positive on this)
Is UC Berkeley decision out? Thanks
still waiting...but per the EH dept, they are having an emergency situation with the admissions chair and that I should hear back in "hopefully a few weeks".Is UC Berkeley decision out? Thanks
Congrats!!! and thanks...Yes I got in Feb 5th to HPM. Might vary by dept
This data is from 2012 but it looks like they accept 260 into the SM program. They don't differentiate between 1 & 2 however. http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/admissions/2012-hsph-statistics/Whoah...if all the students are in their "current students" section. Looks like 9 total..meaning only 4-5 per cohort. On top of that, further breakdown between policy vs management vs research. I think there is such a thing as too small...
Yes I saw this. That includes all 3 SM degrees (42.5, 60, and 80 credits) as well as all ~10 concentrations. I was asking for particularly the size of the HPM SM2 cohort, I guess it is extremely tiny according to their current students section...This data is from 2012 but it looks like they accept 260 into the SM program.
