Got an email from Columbia and my heart jumped out of my chest...but it was just about diversity.
One of my 4 years of college was completed during high school, so I noted that since it was not an option on the SOPHAS transcript entry. I also put the full names and titles of everyone I shadowed.Hey guys! Did anyone fill out the information on the experiences/additional experiences/achievements page? and what kind of info did you put?
I'm submitting this Friday so I am trying to finish adding the little things.
I'm submitting so late bc I wanted to retake the GRE last minute and my score boosted 4 points
Mine says exactly the same thing. I wonder what it means...? I hope it’s not just a glitch and it means nothing! My JH portal looks like this and I'm freaking out! Ahhhhh!
Mine looks like that too!!! Hoping I️t changes for the better hahahaMine says exactly the same thing. I wonder what it means...? I hope it’s not just a glitch and it means nothing!
To quote the Chainsmokers in the most overplayed song of 2017:Mine says exactly the same thing. I wonder what it means...? I hope it’s not just a glitch and it means nothing!
But like....how long must we wait??????!!!! I can’t take it!To quote the Chainsmokers in the most overplayed song of 2017:
"if we go down, then we go down together"
Embarrassed to admit I noticed this too, because it reveals how frequently I’ve been refreshing that page hahahBut like....how long must we wait??????!!!! I can’t take it!
I tried emailing the Admissions Office a couple hours ago but nobody has responded yet! ahhhhEmbarrassed to admit I noticed this too, because it reveals how frequently I’ve been refreshing that page hahah
I submitted to two different departments and both of the applications currently look like this. It might be a glitch. My JH portal looks like this and I'm freaking out! Ahhhhh!
For experiences, I put the jobs/internships/positions that were on my CV as well as volunteer work, etc. For additional experiences I described my campus involvement (I was President of a student organization and an officer in another club) and talked about being an athlete. For achievements, I listed anything award-related during undergrad (I'm only 1.5 years out of school). I got a couple of travel grants to go present research at conferences, a poster presentation I was an author/presenter on won an award at a regional conference, and a couple of other things. I imagine you could also list work-related achievements.Hey guys! Did anyone fill out the information on the experiences/additional experiences/achievements page? and what kind of info did you put?

Just received the email saying I got into Hopkins' online MPH for June 2018 start! Also received the email to interview for Dartmouth, which I'll do, though I'm not sure about fit for my work goals.
To answer the question from earlier, no update on OPUS yet for Emory, though Leah Tompkins said I should see an update by the end of the week.

Congratulations on your acceptances! Last year, I applied and was accepted into the online MPH programs at Hopkins and Dartmouth. Ultimately, I chose Dartmouth. If you have any questions about the program, or why I chose one over the other, feel free to reach out.
I was honestly contemplating emailing them to ask when we can expect to hear back when I saw your post hahaHi all! This forum has been a valuable source of info for me over the past few months, so I thought I'd finally post my stats!

Hi! I applied to both programs and am interested to know about why you chose Dartmouth. Can you please share?
I received an email 3 days after admission decision for a one time merit scholarship of 20000 USD. May be the others can advise also as there were quite a few guys on the forum who were accepted into BU last FridayDoes anyone know when Boston will release scholarship information? I know they are saying to fill out FAFSA, but online they say they offer scholarships outside of FAFSA..
They said merit packages will be sent 7-10 days after the admission email in the mail. I haven't gotten mine yet. I tried asking if I could get it via email and they said I could get it after the holidays once I had seen my paper copy...I received an email 3 days after admission decision for a one time merit scholarship of 20000 USD. I applied to Rutgers for MPH Epidemiology. Did anybody else apply or have heard anything from them?
Ahh ok. I applied on December 4 but haven't received any update from then. Congrats on your acceptance and scholarship!I applied to the same program and got confirmed Early November. I got a call from the Director of Admissions around 3rd week of November about my acceptance/scholarship info. Got scholarship offer/acceptance letter to my email the week after and official acceptance package in mail just yesterday.
