Dear friends,

I know everyone is Kind of frustrated nearing the ROL deadline. But you advice and suggestions is very valuable.

1.St Marys Hospital,Water bury ,CT(on the Iv day saw good teaching/yale affliated)
2.Wright State University, Dayton ,OH
3.Alameda County,CA
4.Suny,downstate(very busy)
5.JHU/Sinai hospital, Baltimore,MD
6.Orlando Regional Healthcare System Program,FL
7.kern bakers field
8. cook county,downtown
9. Newark beth Israel
10. Western penn,pittsburg PA
11. Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies/Michigan State University

Will you all be able to help me with the ranking....please put in some suggestions.

I am asking advice/suggestions from people who are willing to give. Anyone be kind to comment on my list.

Also Can anyone put words on Alameda county and Kerns bakers field .I would love to be in CA for family reasons. but not sure how strong these programs are compared to the others in my list. Will it be stupid if I rank both alameda and kerns bakersfield right on top of my list?

Your list is composed almost entirely of mediocre programs so it probably matters little where you put those to CA programs on the list.

Wright State, Downstate and Kalamazoo are probably the "best" programs on the list. JHU/Sinai is JHU in name only (unlike Bayview which has a real clinical connection w/ JHU). The rest of them will allow you to sit for the ABIM exam upon completion of your training.

Thanks a lot gutonc for your comments. I am an Foreign graduate and because of that we get only calls from "mediocre programs" even if we have good scores.

Agreed. The OP is a FMG without a perfect grasp of english. I dont think that he/she intended any harm by their post. If you are going to go off on someone how about the million people asking for help ranking MGH vs BWH. At least the OP had some programs that are talked about frequently.
