NJMS is in newark (inner city) and RWJ is in Piscataway/New brunswick...more suburban. NJMS you are more apt to see trauma related cases (during rotations) based on the events that take place in the area (crime is a bit higher). I went to the School of Public Health at RWJ and I've seen a lot (and know some) people at NJMS. NJMS tends to have a more diverse student body. Also other area schools use their facilities (the Clinical Skills Training Facility). There seems to be a lot of supportat NJMS and Dr. heinrich is very helpful (I don't know the Dean at RWJ). I believe RWJ also might have a little more focus on research than NJMS or NJCOM, although they are all apart of the same school system. I haven't interviewed at each (or either for that matter), so this is ust my 2 cents.
