Hey fellow 2009 Texas medical school waitlisters...keep everybody updated on your situation and/or any relevant waitlist updates or questions. Good Luck!

There's nothing really "wrong" with this thread; however, there is already a thread called "The Republic of Texas" that is completely devoted to the Texas application process. I know right now it's kind of de-railed onto social topics because nothing much of note has happened since the match, but fear not, whenever something happens, I'm sure you'll hear about it there. If you want to hear everyone's waitlist status, just throw out a message there and I'm sure you'll get some responses. Also, there is the "Official 2008-2009 WAITLIST Thread" though so far only one other person and I have contributed for the Texas schools- so I highly encourage other Texans to add their statuses there 🙂

I think you might find all of your needs for this thread fulfilled through those other threads better 🙂

Yeah I saw those, but I think this is the most efficient thread for those who are only concerned about Texas waitlisted issues in 2009 and can do without all the extra commentary! Please use this thread ONLY to update information about the latest wait list movement!

For all it is worth. I am OOS. I interviewed at TTU-EP PLFSOM on 10/9, I was put on the alternate list on 2/2, and I was accepted off of the alternate list on 3/10. I subsequently withdrew however, so this spot likely went to the next person. Good luck!
