I haven't seen this date posted yet, but I know I can't be the only one taking it on this day. It's almost exactly two months away, and hopefully everybody's prep is productive so far. I've been doing a lot of practice tests, and, at the advice of others, ordered a quarterly subscription to The Economist to try and help out with Verbal (jury's still out on that one). My target score is going to be tough to reach, and I still have a lot of work to do to get there. We'll see how it goes in about 60 days.

Any other "7/14ers" out there?

OMG this is torture. I don't wanna go through this again. 10/10/10 is all I'm asking (lol won't be happy with it but I won't be depressed either, right in that area of disappointment and relief).

AAMC Average: 34 (35 on AAMC 10 and 11)
Prediction: 31 (PS 10 VR 10 BS 11)
Goal: 35

hey guys, been lurking about this thread for awhile and figured I'd too post some predictions considering how close we are

AAMC avg: 32-33
Goal: 32+ (10, 11, 11)
Prediction: 31 (10, 10, 11)
Actual: 😕

honestly I think I could have done well but I've been second guessing myself all throughout this last month so instead of being confident and saying a prediction/goal of 34 or 35 I'm sticking with what I wrote

06/21 MCAT: 34T (13/8/13)
Goal: Anything with a 10+ on VR really.
Prediction: 13/10/12 and S on the writing.
Actual: OH LAWD!!!

Alright guys this whole 30 days of second guessing myself and driving myself crazy is almost over! tomorrow is finally here!

AAMC avg: 26-27
Goal: 27+
Prediction: 28-29
Actual: 😕

I am so nervous this is crazy!

One more day folks!

I'm trying like hell to prepare for the worst. I would much rather be pleasantly surprised than sorely disappointed after making myself believe I did exceptionally well.

Can't decide if I want to be near a liquor store or a tall building when these get released. Ideally both, but tall liquor stores are a rare find.

They need to release these scores... What could possibly change between now and tomorrow after all this time.

I'm thinking MCAT THX must have some strain on its servers right before scores are released...

No big deal guys, coming up on the 24 hour mark... Nervous? Anxious? No I don't know what you're talking about, just you know... going about my day... like any other day. Oh who am I kidding release the scores already!!!

There's a very, very small chance our scores are released today at 3 (or Wednesday at 3, but let's just go with today).

C'mon AAMC, be awesome!!

So here's a question I can't be the only one wanting to ask: is there any way in Safari to set it up so that my browser automatically refreshes the page every so many seconds? I'm serious. I'd google it but I know someone on here has already figured that out for this.

For my first MCAT score reveal, I installed "auto-refresh plus," which is a chrome extension. Maybe they make it for safari too? You can set it to refresh the page however often you want. I think I chose every minute 😛

Do you feel more nervous this time around? I sure do. I'm so so so so so nervous my score will go down! I just want a 10/10/10 too, I got a 10/9/10 last time :/

Have you guys established a number where, if below, you would absolutely retake?

I would retake anywhere below a 29. I'm not applying to DO schools.

I have an AAMC average around yours, so I'm interested to see how we both do! I was almost not going to take this test, but I decided to go through with it, hoping for a miracle!

Yep that's why I'm thinking it is the days leading up to the release that the servers take in quite a bit more volume lol.

And no go on the day early release, so 0days 23hours and 56 minutes! Here we go

Btw, if anyone is looking for a place to distract them from the anxious uncertainty of impending doom or bliss they are about to encounter, I recommend imgur.com or reddit.com. They works wonders.

Yea man this time around I'm way more nervous and anxious. Last time I got 13/7/12 but I felt like crap after verbal so I wasn't surprised (also my VR aamc average was an 8). This time I actually felt good after VR (aamc VR average was an 11) but felt like crap after PS. I'm hoping for 10 in PS since my lowest score in AAMC tests for PS sections was an 11.

F*** 10/9/10 - that sucks man you had to deal with this crap again because of 1 point.

RELEASE THE KRAKEN...... in 23.5 hrs.

Probably won't retake if I get a 30...really hoping for 31+ I will be beyond disappointed with a 29 or below 🙁

I'm now at the point where I'm wishing it was another day or so until we got our scores.. getting very nervous about finally knowing how I did and what it will mean for this app cycle.

Oh boy! 18 hours!

I'm going to sleep really late tonight so i can wake up late tomorrow. I don't want to wake up at like 8am and realize I have another 7hrs to go.

So I copied this from the 7/6 thread and also added their time to it.

Ok guys, the latest numbers are in. Here's the most recent history of score release times:

Eastern Standard Time
7/6/12: 3:10
6/21/12: 3:14
5/31/12: 2:10
5/24/12: 3:07
5/19:12: 11:16 AM
5/12/12: 3:06
4/28/12: 3:07
4/13/12: 3:05
4/05/12: 3:06
3/24/12: 3:16
1/28/12: 3:09
1/27/12: 3:11
9/08/11: 3:27
9/02/11: 3:12
8/23/11: 3:07
8/18/11: 3:11
8/12/11: 3:10
7/28/11: 3:15

Taking out the 11:16 AM and 2:10 PM outliers, the average score release time is 3:11 PM EST.






How are all of you dealing with the stress/keeping your mind off it tomorrow?

I'm headed back to school Wednesday so my day tomorrow will be spent packing as well as going golfing with my dad, who said my smartphone is not allowed on the golf course.

I'll be sitting at my desk doing mindless work all day at my internship, hopefully not dwelling on the obvious too much. I'm feeling the same way as I did the day before the test~!

I'm working tomorrow, so I'll be up early and impatiently waiting. Hopefully, I will stay occupied but I know I'll be allover SDN hoping someone notices they are posted early. I just hope I'm able to sleep well tonight.

However, this time tomorrow we should all have a better idea about what is going on with our lives and our chances at an interview and/or acceptance.

Ditto. So iunno if anyone here took any psychology but I feel like I'm progressing through the five stages of grief but for MCAT score anticipation. Right now I'm somewhere between bargaining for more time and depression.

Check it allllll dayyyy long! Or you could wait for your scores to come via snail mail 😉

All you would have to do is come to this thread...I'm sure someone will post the SECOND the scores are up!
