Thanks everyone! 🙂 I do have an extremely hard decision to make, but the good news for some of you is that I will more than likely be turning down my Ohio acceptance and Minnesota interview very soon. And if I happen to have a Tufts interview invite in my mailbox when I get home tonight I may turn that down as well... Then I'll spend the next 3 months agonizing over this decision. 🙂 Congrats to raccjlm, GellaBella, and DickVetPlease as well!!

Congrats turnbackhelly! Have you visited Cornell yet? Maybe you'll fall in love with it if you visit and realize that you actually love it more than Penn! A couple of questions to ask yourself maybe:

1. would you have gone to Penn given the financial burden had you not been accepted to cornell?
2. how much happier will you actually be at penn vs. cornell? and for what reasons? in the long run will that make a diff?
3. look 1 yr from now, and imagine yourself at cornell. will you really look back and regret not having gone to penn?

anyhoos, don't let it make you feel bad at least for now and just focus on how awesome it is that you're going to become a vet! and i seriously urge you to watch the video that David posted on the post random things thread about what makes people happy (he posted it with the last lecture). it talks about happiness and having choices.

I interviewed 1/8 and Kathy Seay said we should hear the first or second week of Feb. She said that they had to wait until they got everyone's fall transcripts before they sent out letters and the deadline for sending them is Feb 1st. so sometime after that. I am anxiously waiting!!!!!

I'm from Nebraska --- which shouldn't mean anything because we don't have a contract with them --- but apparently they interviewed all Nebraska people the weekend of 12/20, and told us we'd know early February by the latest, but probably late January. I guess they decided to get them out sooner.
