so i left to pack and i come bak and see ur name on acceptances and i have a heart attack and i came on to say congrats! but then i realized u were just responding to 3Ms too hahah yes i do think we will have nervous breakdowns! and i'll be gone from email til tonight! maybe i will use my cell phone and just pay extra lol

lol i KNOW we'll all get in! i can feel it! i mean seriously, some of the people in my group i jsut couldnt believe they were invited. one girl didnt even know that VT had tracking!!!

and thanks for posting AFTER i left for PA lol i am now in PA and had to wait til 830 to find out! 😛 🙂 congrats!
 
I screamed and screamed and would have had a inappropriate public reaction either way. If I had been kicked out of undergrad, well, that would be the sort of thing they take away an acceptance for, right 😛?

I do really hope you get in! I'm feeling some great VM vibes for us SDNers. How great would that be, SDNers meeting at interviews and all getting in?

I didn't scream, but I was in the middle of talking to one of my doctors when I found out. I was saying something as I opened the email and suddenly gasped as I read the first line 🙂 Thankfully, he was both understanding and excited. I wasn't sure who to tell next, but word spreads very quickly and the students were super enthusiastic and supportive. One of the gals made up some signs and hung them up in the hall for me...it was really special 🙂 I'm so stinking excited! I just want to cry happy tears of joy!

I don't think my interview at VT went particularly well, so I guess i'm not quite as optimistic as you are lol. BUT, as long as I know i'm going SOMEWHERE to vet school next year, i'm not stressing out too horribly.

ogod. i dunno why i thought u got a late night acceptance lol i keep forgetting people can post plain responses on the acceptance thread. minor heart attack.

dont worry, i dont think mine went perfect either lol but i still have faith in all of us and did you talk to the people in your group? dr. pelzer said we could. i asked everyone if they thought they had any interviewers who didnt like what they said, and they all mentioned the same people i thought i did bad at. so i think it is just their personality, not that u actually did horrible at the station.

Thanks! I definitely still have some deciding to do.

I think Penn may be out, just based on cost. Honestly, I liked Mizzou alot more than VMRCVM, and felt more at home there. With Mizzou being one of the schools where you can become a resident after one year, the overall costs of the two are pretty similar. Then there's Edinburgh, a city that i LOVE, and just cannot dismiss the school.

So I suppose right now its Mizzou and Edin. on top, with VMRCVM somewhere in the mix. As you can tell, I have some thinking to do lol. Do you know where you're heading yet?

I think Penn may be out, just based on cost. Honestly, I liked Mizzou alot more than VMRCVM, and felt more at home there. With Mizzou being one of the schools where you can become a resident after one year, the overall costs of the two are pretty similar. Then there's Edinburgh, a city that i LOVE, and just cannot dismiss the school.

So I suppose right now its Mizzou and Edin. on top, with VMRCVM somewhere in the mix. As you can tell, I have some thinking to do lol. Do you know where you're heading yet?
