look on the bright side_ morningLight is going to columbia and figurefive ucsf. i've met very few people that are accepting their cornell acceptances. hopefully there'll be at least some waitlist movement this year with them.

You know isn't lizard king interviewing on 3/12??? humm either she is straight out interviewing for a waitlist position or maybe we aren't all dead in the water yet!!! (I love living on shreads of hope!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😡 )

you know, i called the other day, and the woman said that decisions were prob. gonna be sent out on the third week in march. you guys, i know that people have been hearing, but they keep saying that they are still interviewing applicants NOW, and that they send out the majority of acceptances in march. now, being that we are somewhat of a representative group, i would argue that more of us would have heard last night if it were the "big batch."
also keep in mind that decisions are ONLY sent out on wednesdays. this includes rejections and waitlists as well (they are mailed out on wednesdays).

-argh, i cant believe im going through the exact same thing with cornell again.

-good luck guys. im really praying for a waitlist; at least that way i know they pull off a ****load from it (i read in the stanford report earlier that cornell took off something like 30 off their list (for a class of 100).

Oh man - I guess I would of heard if I had gotten in since I DID interview the same day as Morninglight. All I want is at least a waitlist - I'm not picky!

you should talk, i interviewed at sinai the same day as you and I haven't heard anything!

-anyway, whatever; i interviewed before EVERYONE ELSE at cornell and haven't heard squat, and i know people that interviewed after you guys and heard before morninglight.

If you read Morninglight's post, it says that the email she received was sent to only a "few" people. I'm sure it's safe to say there are many more spots that they have yet to offer. At least that is what I am trying to convince myself.

E'01, when did you interview? When did figure five interview? Just curious.

a friend just got accepted - so Cornell might be sending acceptances thru the whole month. Probably in Batches

Sicvic, your friend received their acceptance today? Choker seemed sure that Wedensday is the only day they send out anything.

Sorry about any confusion - but my friend had the interview on the 9th of January and clarifies that the acceptance was mailed yesterday (03/6) at around 5.47 and there were 9 people on the email list. Hope this helps! 😎
