Hey, new to this, but have some interviews to post, I think most people got these as well but I'm putting in my stats since it might make some people feel better?

Not AOA in a not-top 50 school though we match well

Interviewing at Loma Linda the day after Baylor? Interesting.....
 
Can someone who's already confirmed their interview date at Temple tell me what time the dinner is the night before? I understand it might be different times on different days, but it would help me out if I knew that it's usually later versus earlier in the evening. Thanks!

ERAS complete. Dean's letter was loaded into ERAS on Friday, but no programs have accessed it yet.

My understanding is that programs actually aren't ABLE to access the dean's letter until November 1st. Some applicants' letters have been uploaded for quite a few weeks now, but for the sake of fairness none can be downloaded until the 1st.

Then why is it "Available, but not yet retrieved" on ERAS? I guess we'll find out tomorrow morning.

Programs are not allowed to retrieve the MSPE before November 1st.
If it says available that means your dean's office has transmitted the MSPE to the ERAS "Post office." Programs nationwide cannot retrieve it until November 1st. Some deans' offices have had the MSPEs prepared for more than a month now, others will probably completely them by the 31st.

Because your school uploaded it and programs can't download it until 11/1. Some schools wait until the last minute to upload it.

Northwestern, Mt. Sinai, and Columbia contacted me by personal email and also through ERAS (but i don't check my ERAS account that often anymore, so they may not have been at the same time).

programs send out their interview invites in waves or batches, right? i'm just wondering if like, in theory, if a place hasn't offered me yet, and then in the first week or two of November still doesn't offer me, but then say around Nov 15th or 20th (or perhaps even later), might still send out another "batch" of interviews, after they have developed a better idea of what their applicant pool looks like, and how their schedule is shaping up....

if this is the case, then one should be prepared to make changes in their travel schedules later in the season....
 
Does anyone know if U of C requires completion of USMLE Step 2? Thanks!
 
On their website it seems to indicate they want the score, but no specific timeline. I haven't even taken Step 2 yet. Hopefully they just need it before the match.
