Haven't seen a single Roseman acceptance. I wonder if they'll call right before midnight

They all ready sent out acceptances today. They will make a decision as to what to do with remaining applicants, sometime in January. If you didn't hear, you will have to wait in Jan to get an update. Good luck.

A bunch of people got accepted to UMC, Mississippi way back in August and September
 
I got a phone call around 11am EST. I was working all day, that's why I didn't get a chance to post anything till just a little bit ago
 
Got in to UNLV, UCSF, Pittsburgh, and ASDOH out of 7 pre-December interviews! Definitely ecstatic about how things turned out. Still keeping my fingers crossed for Columbia though...
 
NYU rejection. Honestly am surprised. I thought Id get at the very least waitlisted. Not sure why I got rejected. I interviewed really early in mid-August and I thought the whole interview went swimmingly because the interviewer seemed to really like my dry humor (wasnt trying to be funny on purpose it just flowed naturally from the convo) and my old-fashioned views on family life. She even complimented me on both. But I guess I had some a huge red flag on my app that deemed me unworthy of even the waitlist. I dont even know why they bothered to invite me.
 
Congrats all you dental school applicants! I really hope we all get in this cycle!

Congrats all!! Now it is time for some to do the opposite of what they have been doing for the past three months - find negatives in all but one school.

As it stands right now, I will have to narrow it down between UNLV, VCU, NOVA, NYU, and UDM.
 
First and foremost - congrats to everyone receiving offers yesterday! All your hard work has paid off...go get off SDN and enjoy yourselves for the next few weeks before finally deciding.....As for me...

4/6 Out of Pre-Dec Invites including my top 2 and could not be more grateful !

Accepted to: UCLA, Michigan (scholarship), UPenn, USC
No News: Western, UCSF

no, i'm going to take a hard look at how the numbers will shake out between the two schools you've probably guessed i'm considering. but, there may be the possibility of a scholarship offer from a third...or so a little bird told me.

Lol fine I'll say it: it's udm.

They were the school that called me last week with their scholarship talk and sorta tipped off my acceptance.

If you can handle Detroit and money is good you can't go wrong with that school (awesome ping pong room too). Out of your front runners probably the best clinical. If you like the research then you should consider only one school (I'm sure you know which). But I know you are going to hate saying no to at least couple of them; I know I will.

All I read was "awesome ping pong room"
 
Does anyone know when rejections get sent out for a majority of these schools? I have had absolutely no status update besides "App Complete/Under Review" from a lot of schools I would like to hear from. I am a late applicant, but I still feel I should have heard something back.
 
Im wondering the same, I luckily received a few acceptances but I have a bunch of schools that haven't told me anything. Does this mean we are in the post-december pool for interviews still?
 
My portal was updated earlier today. Rejection from West Virginia University School of Dentistry (WVA) without interview.
 
can somebody call and ask about conditional acceptance

Tough luck buddy. I don't doubt that something great will come along, you just need to be patient! NYU's loss.
 
Just got a call from UDM. So, dont give up. They are still calling!!

I'm also waiting to hear anything at all from most of the schools I've applied to. I received a rejection from UCSF in October and a rejection from Ohio State 12/2. Marquette sent me an e-mail saying my application was on "hold" for further review and OHSU sent me the competitive application e-mail a couple of months ago. Otherwise I'm still in limbo with the other schools. I really want to call them all and ask what's up but don't want to be a bother either since their phones are most likely ringing every second of the day. Just give me an interview!

How did you find out you got a scholarship to Pitt? During the phone call or in the information in the mail? Thanks!
