Congratulations, I know just how you feel! I was initially 3rd batch, but they re-mailed mine in August. Just got my first invite yesterday as well. Glad to share in your happiness :laugh:

Rejection out cold from AST...I am really sad, this came at the wrong timing.

I applied in the first batch and it has taken me a LONG time to get an in-state interview! 🙂 😀 Both of my state schools have been sending them out for a while. It's hard not to be worried and assume the worst when it takes such a long time, you know?

I've been checking my email every 5 minutes for three and a half months now, and still nothing! I turned in my AADSAS application on 29 June and it was mailed out on 19 July. Other than the "rejection" from Ohio State (not getting an interview invite before 2 October) I've heard absolutely nothing. Does that mean I'm done?

I don't think it means your done...you may just get a later interview. Your DAT scores are pretty good, your GPA is lower average. My GPA is about the same as yours, and my DAT is a lot lower, but I applied in October last cycle and I got 3 post-dec. interviews (waitlisted) and this year by applying to about 20 schools. I think it's all about researching your school selections and applying broadly. (i.e. ECU only accepts NC residents, and for Puerto Rico I believe 4 semesters of spanish are required ).
