**Official Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2013-2014**

Did any other out-of-state applicants receive this from IU?

Notification of your current application status for the Indiana University School of Dentistry will be slightly delayed. I apologize for this delay since I know that you have waited patiently. Unfortunately, review of the resident applicants took longer than expected. Out of fairness to you the committee agreed to meet early the week after Thanksgiving to review non-residents in order to give your applications the same consideration that was given to resident applications. Our goal is to complete the non-resident review process and notify you no later than Friday, December 6th. It could be sooner.

19 applications ---> 11 invites ---> 7 IV attended ---> 3 acceptances. Oh and a big #$%@ you to UF, Upenn, and all west coast schools !!!!!!

Louisville!!! So excited to get that acceptance email!

Made the "under further review" from case and "hold" from Marquette insignificant!
 
Did anyone get an email from midwestern saying something about financial aid for being a prospective student but not a phone call? I can't tell if they sent it to everyone who interviewed or not.

Interviews: kentucky, GRU, ASDOH, Pitt, UDM, Midwestern AZ, Midwestern Il, UMich, UB, UMB, BU, MUSC, UI(declined), UNLV (declined), UMKC(declined)

Acceptances: kentucky, ASDOH, Pitt(scholarship), Midwestern AZ, Midwestern Il, UB, BU

OOS for all

They sent out the email at around 12:30am.

would i get like a waitlist/rejection email if i wasn’t accepted? I’m freaking out that i haven’t heard anything haha! and I have class all day and taking notes isn’t productive on my laptop when i can refresh my email every…30 seconds

I never got an email from Temple last night but the portal was updated with Offer Made this morning.

I wouldn't assume that you're rejected... I would think that there are more pre-dec waitlists than rejections. You're not out of the game yet, and keep in mind that temple's waitlist probably moves rather quickly.

Accepted to both of my in state schools UMich and UDM!! So happy and blessed for this opportunity!!
 
Second acceptance...
ACCEPTED TO UW!!! My #1 (and #2,-5 Hehe)! Been dreamin' about this damn day for 4 years!

Holding off on telling my parents... going to wait for that acceptance letter in the mail. Gonna frame it, wrap it, and give it to them as an early X-mas present! (What can I say? I'm broke, and I know they'll LOVE it!)

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE ACCEPTANCES, EVERYONE! We should be proud of ourselves!

no one gets waitlisted at Minnesota yet. Its just you haven't been decided yet!

keep your hopes up for Minnesota! especially OOS

Just called the office. They didn't mention anything about this, but said we will received some sort of correspondence today.
