**Official Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2013-2014**

I know exactly why. It's probably due to the fact that my first two DAT scores we a 16 (2010) and a 17 (August 2013). I got my act together and retook it in November and got the 21 I mentioned earlier. So by November, it was kind of late for some schools. ECs were above par in my opinion. I also had research for the first half of my Master's degree, and worked 30 hours a week for the latter half of my degree.
 
Attend nova or bu??????????

Received an interview at VCU on Dec 5th. Interviewed at VCU on Jan 7th. Accepted at VCU on Jan 31st.
Received an interview at Tufts on Jan 24th. Will now be declining that interview (hope this helps someone out).
Rejected from NOVA, LECOM, GRU, OSU, and Temple prior to receiving an interview at VCU.
Applied to 20 schools total.
3.1 undergrad GPA and 3.5 grad GPA (both in Biology).
21 AA, 21 TS, and 21 PAT

Cannot explain how excited I am to start dental school this fall!!!

I love a story of triumph, tell those schools to suck it, not only you got into a great school, more importantly it is the CHEAPEST

Yes that is Boston U. Well I'm from New York so the closest would be Boston but the cheapest would be Nova lol. I'm trying to figure out which has a better clinic

Hah! 🙂 Sadly, I know zilch about the clinical experience at either of those schools. How much cheaper is Nova? If it isn't much (I'd say no more than a 40k difference), then personally, I'd rather be closer to home. 3.5 hours (from what I've gathered on google maps) is a drivable distance.

Try to recall what you remember seeing when you toured both the schools' clinics during interviews. Id help but I havent been to the boston school.

I really liked both clinics settings. What I am referring to is which school would I get better experience at? Such as bigger patient pool, more requirements

You will need to get a hold of some D4s at both schools. Their answers will seal the deal for u. Start searching
 
Case or unlv???
They end up close to the same price for me after in state tuition. I'm not from Nevada. Any thoughts?

finished my aadsas app 12/13
and got an interview at UNLV for feb 7th!
I wonder how many spots they have left..

Rejection from Temple today via email : NEVER interviewed, wow they keep coming...
Update email from UDM: need update of my grades to consider me for interview
 
I have been accepted to NYU and VCU and I'm having trouble deciding between the two. I am canadian so neither is in-state. I know that NYU is more expensive but fortunately my parents are helping me out a lot so cost is not a major determinant. I also considered the class sizes, VCU has 95 and I believe NYU is about 360. I would appreciate any thoughts or feedback to help me decide. Thanks!

At my interview they stated that UF would let applicants know their decision around mid February (interviewed last month). Anyone with newer Intel?
 
Seriously..... I don't know how many times I double checked the e-mail.

Waiting list: UNE

No response yet from: UM and Midwestern-AZ

stats: AA(22) TA(20) GPA: 3.2 OOS
It's over!! I'm still screaming AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
