hopefully!! columbia is one of my dream schools! i wonder how they order the reviewing of apps..

Case
Indiana
Iowa (email saying "app deferred" = eventual reject)

still waiting on 17 more - yeah, I went all out on the apps.😉

It's hard to say I think. I think it might have been the hours...but maybe they said no due to my QR score being low. I dunno though.

you guys think its too late to apply to Columbia NYU UoP USC and Western... i finally got the funds to pay for my apps

Got two more interview invites today, making it:

Midwestern AZ - Dec 5th
Case Western - February 10th
Baylor - Sept 29th
Nova - Nov 5th

No rejections...yet *knock on wood*

Got a Michigan invite this morning!!!!! So exited!! I was born and raised in Michigan. The invite is for Oct 1 which is the same day as my Buffalo invite...I am thinking that if I can reschedule them close together that the price of the airplane ticket will be lower.

Quick Question:

When school puts your application on HOLD with title, " WAITING FOR FALL GRADES", does this mean an eventual rejection?

No. It means they won't consider you until you get your grades to them. So that would be post December. I had that happen when I applied before and I got an interview in February. I think they only put applicants on hold that they are interested in and want to see some more from them. Work hard for good grades! Best of luck.
 
for those of you with a Michigan interview, when did you get an email from them confirming that they had received your application and yo create a U-M "friend" account? I received the email two weeks ago and it tol me to wait three weeks before using my friend account to check my status. How can i find out if my app is complete?

I thought it was the same as a rejection and I got my daily dosage of rejection for the day.

I guess there is some hope there.
 
Michigan interview invite for 10/1, surprising since i'm an Az resident

7/2 mail date, 7/16 final lor sent, 7/28 App complete email received
 
I haven't heard a word from Michigan yet, and I mailed early.

I hope I get an invite by tomorrow :scared:

Hard to tell without your stats, but they are either looking for an upward trend, a hard course load with good grades, or just seeing how much you can raise your GPA. Not a rejection though. Good luck👍
 
Congrats everyone on the interview invites thus far! This is all completely exciting. I can't wait til my first interview in September. 🙂
 
I haven't heard from Michigan either🙁 I was in the 7/2 mailing, but my last LOR wasn't submitted until mid-late july....

University of Florida...interview was on Aug. 20th
Nova...interview scheduled for October 6
Louisville... scheduled for september 13th

Just got an AADSAS update from Loma Linda! "Invited for Interview"

Those that received an interview from LLU, did you get a phone call or email interview invitation? I'm so excited!
 
For Loma Linda I first saw the update on AADSAS, then a snail mail letter with dates to choose from for an interview. Congrats
 
My LLU status finally changed to "invited for interview" today! Yey!!!!

Received interview invites from:
Midwestern (AZ) 8/10 via e-mail, scheduled 10/11
NOVA 8/12 via e-mail & snail mail, scheduled 10/7
UNLV 8/30 via e-mail, scheduled 11/5
LLU 9/2 AADSAS status, schedule TBD

0 Rejections

hmmm still waiting on 11 more, but deciding how many more i can attend....running out of traveling $$$$$ 🙁

Congrats! What are your stats and mailing date, if you don't mind? Also, are you in-state or OOS?
