Hey soulpower has case cashed your check? my mailing date for case was the same 7/23 and i sent out my check right away but on AADSAS under supplemental materials it still says app fee not received...

I'd just call them. Seems they should have gotten it already. And, I wouldn't trust AADSAS. I suspect they aren't updating it anymore.
 
how long did it take for everyone who got a case interview to receive an invite after their cheque was cashed?

Mines was cashed last week and I have not heard anything from them.

Do they do rejections via AADSAS? I know they send invites through snail-mail, yes?
 
well my cheque got to case last week and my app is officially complete although it doesnt say so on aadsas, im looking out for the mail next week looks like
 
My mailing date for Case was 8/6 and I've sent money order like 3 weeks ago. Still no update on AADSAS/ no snail mail.

CAN when was your mailing date for CASE? does it say under review on your AADSAS?

mine has nothing 🙁
 
interview for unlv. its so expensive though i dont know if i'm gonna call to schedule. anyone else feeling the same financial burden?

What do you mean the interview is expensive? Do you mean the travel expenses?

When was your mailing date and what date did you get your "application complete" email?
 
mailing date was 7/16, i got the email on 8/4 but just found out now. apparently it went into my junk box and was automatically deleted, i emailed them yesterday and they got back to me today

i meant the school's 4 year tuition is expensive. maybe the most expensive school?

Are you saying you got your interview email Aug 4th and just noticed now? Or are you talking about the general email they send out when your application is complete? Because thats the one I was asking for. Thanks!
 
i got the interview on august 4th, but didnt know about it until now

That's kind of a drag.

It seems like schools typically will drop an interview if it's not confirmed within 2 weeks.

I hope everything works out for you (I'm sure it will!) 😉

i had a 7/23 mailing date and no columbia yet : ( i was really upset... i got interviews at uconn case and new jersey so far. can i ask you what your stats are? I have 3.85 GPA 3.83 Science AA-21-PAT-21-TS-21. I am really crossing my fingers

rejections are thru snail mail too. got my rejection on 7/26 via snail mail and my AADSAS was updated with 'application denied' on 8/2
 
i used the 4 year tuition figures off predents.com. unlv is over 200k tuition. only a few schools are in that vicinity, such as nyu, usc, bu, midwestern etc. asdoh is pretty inexpensive actually

nevertheless it was foolish for me to consider not interviewing due to the high cost. nothing is to be taken for granted, and unlv is a great school

btw thanks mrbeans, i got a sense of urgency after reading ur post and called immediately and scheduled my interview

Actually there is a thread on it somewhere, but Nevada is having budget issues, which will put the cost of dental tuition at UNLV around 140,000 (including living) PER YEAR starting 2011. Ouch.

Take a look at my predents profile for my stats. Im about the same as you on the DAT but ur GPA is better than mine. Im also an international applicant so you probably have a better chance than I do.
 
So if i didnt hear back from columbia this monday, does this mean that i am not gonna be making those pre december interviews? idk if my stat is good enough to earn an interview at columbia..

Just heard from Midwestern... scheduled my interview for Nov 10. Sat on my supplemental app for too long and as a consequence, am going to miss the first two waves of interviews :/

Anyone else interviewing at MWU in November?
 
Midwestern Interview Nov.10th! Got the email today and scheduled via MWU net 👍
 
So far I have interviews at Nova (10/13), Midwestern AZ (9/21), and Louisville (9/10)

why are you unhappy? just be glad you got a spot, and on that could still allow you to get a dec acceptance

Submitted on Aug 15th so the turn around is very quick.

You're right. I guess I just saw a bunch of people with September/October dates so when I saw the email, I was hoping for the same. Good luck to you all!

I feel the same exact way 🙁. I havent gotten an interview from anywhere else yet either. (mail date aug 6...eh I shouldnt have waited too long to submit).

Sure, app submitted June 10th, mailed 7/2, last LOR mailed 7/16. As for the secondary I dont actually remember the date I submitted it but it was one of the first ones I submitted I believe. I got that email from Western saying my app was ready for review on Aug 3rd and received the phone call this morning at 10.

On Western status check, what was the date of the last thing that they received? (AADSAS App, DAT score, Fee, Secondary App, etc)?

are you a CA resident?
 
I'm an AZ resident. On the status check it said application complete about a couple weeks ago I believe. The website is actually weird for me because it said application complete and my supplemental was received Aug 5th, but it had a different date before? And now it says application incomplete lol so not really sure whats going on with the website. Dont expect the website so invite you for an interview just check it to make sure you have all your items turned in.
 
since my 7/23 mail date ive heard nothing from them, and i think my supp is def lost in the mail since its been weeks
...ugh time to try a re-send

I'm sure its still there I wouldnt trust the website so much. I emailed them early on and they said they've received my DAT scores but didnt update it on the website till about 3 weeks after that
 
I called them to confirm receipt of my new scores. And they said I am being invited for an interview based on my old scores! Like 30 mins ago!
