Stats: Predents
Residency: OOS

Anyone know the #accept from #interviewed for OOS students? 2010 ADEA doesn't have this statistic :/
 
Congrats to people who finally got the USN Invite.
Was it with phone for all of you today ?

Also, people with 4-5+ interviews so far, are you really planing to attend USN interview as well ??

Yes, by phone and I do plan on attending. Even if I am accepted on Dec 1st, I would still like to see USN.

I think I got an "app complete" letter at some point but can't say for sure. I record everything down in a word doc I have but I don't see a "complete" status typed in next to Penn so I either forgot to record it, or I actually never got a status complete update. Regardless, I'm rejected.

Louisville interview invite by email! From what I have researched/heard about Louisville, they seem like a fantastic school. 😍

I'm scheduled for December 6th. Does anyone know how this works with their acceptance decision since it will be after December 1st? How soon will we be notified after the interview of their decision?
 
for those who got NYU interviews can you list your mailing date, invite email date and stats? thank you!

I am OOS. Where do we see when our app was complete? On AADSAS under 'decision date' it says 10/13. Im guessing this is when my app was complete.

Hey smiling,
Louisville usually gives out most acceptances on December 1st. The good thing for you though is... that they can offer you a spot the day after your interview if they have a spot available and they really like you (because it is after December 1st). The post December 1st interviewees are more likely to get invites more quickly than pre-December interviewees because they re-review their application and interview again. Pre-December interviewees usually get off the waitlist around January 15th.

I am instate and have been through this process before with them.
The interview is fun and you will enjoy yourself!! good luck.

on aadsas under designations, mailing date or like mine i have 2 for when my new dat was reported. thanks

Agreed, theres still time and I feel a lot of interesting action will take place after December 1st, much like last cycle. :corny: Pop some corn and get ready for the show.

Mailing date: 7/2, 8/20 (with DAT re-take)
Invite email: 11/18

cGPA: 3.33, sGPA: 3.22, nsGPA: 3.68
DAT: 20AA/21TS/22PAT (22bio/20gc/19oc/21rc/20qr)
 
Interviewed for UCSF in october and just got rejected today via email. I have great stats and the student I interviewed with even said I did "really well". Thought I would've at least been waitlisted....
How confusing and demoralizing 🙁
 
Just got rejected by USC.... what a disgusting situation...... They say they do a thorough review of the application, but ofcourse, had they fully reviewed my application then they wouldnt have denied me so abruptly without interviewing me.

damin it USC.... thanks for ruining my Thanksgiving break.....

Im sorry to hear this about UCSF?..... 🙁 It sux to be made to feel good about something only to be smacked down. Im feeling pretty pissed off right now too.

If you dont mind me asking what are your stats. Are you OOS? Whats your situation?

Did you get a letter or email from USC ?? Or was it through their portal system !! I am surprised that you got rejected so early since I do not recall from last cycle that they reject anyone till April.

Did you get the letter that you passed the original review ?

I got a rejection letter in the mail. No I did not receive the "you passed the initial review" letter.

I was an early applicant too. My app submitted June 24. My DATs are AA22, TS23, PAT 21. My GPA is low, but I explained my situation thoroughly, and USC is one of those schools that says they actually listen and read the applicants words/essays. So Im totally dumbfounded that despite everything Ive outright rejected. Not even an interview, or a Application Complete letter!

Yeah, I'm out of state (Ohio)..I'm hoping thats probably the reason. My stats are 3.6o,3.7s 22AA/22TS/22PA. My interview with the student went well, and the professor I interviewed with seemed pretty nice and the interview didn't go bad by any stretch of the imagination...which is why an outright rejection seems really strange.
 
AADSAS completed on Sept 10th, app complete on Nov 2nd, interview invite today!
 
UCSF rejection email today as well. So sad. I thought the student interviewer and I really clicked and hit it off. The faculty interview went well too. Baaah!!

Oh well, 1 down but 3 to go! Hopefully at least one acceptance :xf:

srry for the rejection but you gotta realize, thorough review does not = automatic interview
 
Congrats. Looks like Harvard has been busy today. I hope they let us know pretty quickly after interviews if we got in or not.
 
i just got my first rejection from UF. I'm kinda confused b/c i just graduated from UF and thought that would be my highest chance.

Do people usually get rejected from their state schools?

my gpa/sgpa is 3.54/3.4
dat pa/aa/ts is 19/20/21

lots of EC's.


I have on the other hand i've gotten interviews from USC, MWU, and Nova so im at least thankful for that.
