I did yesterday sayiny "After careful review of your application, the UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School Admissions Committee has determined that you cannot be offered an interview at this time. However, the Admissions Committee will reconsider your application at a later date."

better than rejection I suppose.
 
If anyone is canceling a Case Western Interview anytime dec-march, i'd really appreciate if you'd PM me. Currently scheduled for end of april😱 Thanks!

I got the same email yesterday and I honestly don't know what to think. I wish I knew where we stand in comparison to the people that are currently waitlisted. I wonder if they gonna go through the waitlist before considering us?

Was rejected from 2 schools last week and am in limbo at the other schools. It sucks big time. :scared:
 
got the call this morning from LLU! and I'm only a Presbyterian!

Sounds like our applications are going very similarly. I don't really understand this whole thing, to be honest. You're guess is as good as mine, and it doesn't sound too promising. It does suck big time.....

I hear from NYU tomorrow, someone please cross their fingers for me! If I don't get in, I think I might end up on here next year as a re-applicant 🙁.

Got an interview invite to Louisville yesterday via email for Jan 10th. I'm going to turn it down and save the money though since I got accepted to Case and I would rather go there.

Also got the rejection email from Ohio State today. My stats were nowhere near competitive enough!

I know, seriously, this whole process sucks the life out of me every day.

Me too. My status was updated on 11/30 but I got the email last week. When I called them they claim they have not yet received my DAT score, but every other school I applied to got them a long time ago. 😕 Oh well.
 
Does anyone know if/how Pitt sends out rejections/waitlists? I did a search but couldn't find any info. It also looks like no one's been rejected or waitlisted at Pitt (according to PreDents). My interview was less than stellar... I was really hoping for an acceptance from Pitt on Dec 1st but didn't really expect one. 🙁

i didn't receive an e-mail...did all rejected applicants get an e-mail? or only the ones that interviewed? did you interview there?

No, I didn't get an interview. I got a rejection email with the heading, "Application Status Update" on 11/23/10. Then my aadsas was updated to "Application Denied" on 11/30/10.

Did you interview there?

I called Pitt yesterday. My status did not change at all. They said that means that you are not rejected or waitlisted yet (I guess they do that once the class if filled) and they keep your application and compare it to others who get interviews as the process continues. Sam thing with U of Minn. So there is still hope.

I hope that helps. Call if you wan to make sure. They were very nice on the phone.

Yeah, my status didn't change so I wasn't sure what that meant. So they haven't rejected anyone yet? Thanks for the info!

Nope, I didn't interview there...but i"m confused as to why I didn't receive an e-mail. I don't see how hard it would've been to just add my e-mail address to their bulk e-mail...

this process is horrible...it sucks your life dry!
 
Does anyone still have the status "Received/Application Complete" for VCU, Louisville, or ASDOH on AADSAS? I have had that status since October and was wondering if it meant a possible rejection or if they might be waiting for my summer and fall grades after academic update.

Also does anyone have the status "Received/Under Review" for Tufts and Temple and still not received an update about their application or if this means a rejection?

i have been receieved/under review for VCU since 7/23, Tufts since 8/6, and Temple since 9/13...i have not receieved anything from them so im guessing this is going to be a rejection in the end since my academic update wont really make much of a difference

my asdoh hasn't changed yet...but my temple has i received a rejection notice in the mail yesterday but it was dated 12/1. so i guess if you haven't heard anything ...you're still being considered?

In what form did you hear of your rejection from ASDOH? I've had my app completed since August and no status update since then... :/

Just got a call from MWU IL for an interview invite on december 9th but i declined the offer
 
just received an interview invite from BU but i am declining the invite
 
Received an interview invite from Temple, which I will be declining, and earlier today received one from NYU, which i'm still contemplating
 
"offer made" changes into "offer accepted" on AADSAS when you make the deposit to the school!
 
Got into UPenn and NYU!!! Best day 😀

I'm not too sad about it though because I still got into my top choice, but it would have been nice to say I got an interview at Harvard 😛

USN called today and offered me an interview this Friday, unfortunately I couldn't make it so I scheduled it for their next earliest date - January 7th.

in other news, i interviewed at columbia on sept 24 and still haven't gotten anything from them... any ideas?

Same here. I Interviewed there in early November and still haven't heard anything. Starting to bug me. anyways, good luck:luck:
