**Official Maryland Class of 2024 Interview/Acceptance Thread**

I sent in my deposit and paperwork last week and still haven't received confirmation that my paperwork has been received. Is this the case for others as well?
Wait what paperwork? I thought only the deposit was due?!

For those who have already been accepted and submitted the deposit, were you able to pay with a credit card?

Does anyone know when they typically have the class filled? I have an interview in mid February and I'm wondering if that's too late to get an acceptance/ if I'm just going to be interviewing for a waitlist spot?

what day is your interview? everyone is still waiting since December 16 to hear back.

above it was said that people who got accepted on December 2nd were given until January second to turn all their stuff in. So you can assume the deadline was 5 pm on the second. (roughly). So by the end of today (super roughly) you can assume they will have an accurate (ish) class size number. This will allow them to send out more. However also above it was said they are recalculating class size or something so who knows if its 132 or not... now December 16th was supposed to be the second "release" date but i find that silly since they gave the first round a month to reply and the 16th is only two weeks after the first "release" date...Since there is no other "set" date it is unknown A: (how many/if) seats are open and B: an exact time of "release"... so if they are coming it could literally be anytime between now.... and as the admissions staff put it.... the third day of orientation. but Ii have not bothered them/ asked them so im just drawing these conclusions.

I just called and they said they’re rolling admissions now. So I guess there’s no second “release” date/round of acceptances.

So basically it’s going to be a never ending wait for an acceptance or denial... this is what i feared... :/ well good luck to everyone! This year or next 👍

But on another note has anyone’s got an acceptance after the second?

For those wondering I looked at last years and some people got accepted mid March and people started getting waitlisted april4
Thanks for saying that. Because I kinda started panicking today and that makes me feel better

I just got offered an interview for Jan 15th yesterday! I'm a little surprised to be offered an interview so close but I'm only about 2.5 hour drive away so that might've factored in.

Congrats and good luck!! Keep us updated with any information they give on next admissions batch coming out please!

Id reach out, I did as well and they didnt realize until I called.

I'm driving from Philadelphia for my interview and I'm getting anxious about parking and traffic. Did anyone drive and have any issues with morning traffic or the parking lots they suggested? It should be about a 2-2.5 hour drive for me but I was going to leave way 4 hours early just in case of crazy traffic or parking issues. I do a little city driving in Philly but I'm really not a huge fan if it's crazy hectic.

I would say 4 hours is plenty enough time. Park in the Pearl Street Garage, it's closest to the school. I had no issues finding parking because the garage had a lot of spaces in the upper levels.

Also good luck tomorrow! If they say anything about when they will be sending out acceptances could you please let us know?

We weren't given any specifics on when acceptances would be sent out, just that it was rolling admissions. The interview was very relaxed and there was plenty of parking available in the garages.

what is the interview like? I am really looking forward to this school.
so there will be a faculty member and a dental student. It will be about 30 min and its open file.

My guess (hope) would be that there is still a lot left, considering they didn't do a second round of December acceptances like they usually do.
I want to know how many they sent out yesterday. Also anyone else that interviewed pre December still waiting to hear back?
