I got a couple more rec letters coming, and i wrote a letter of intent. Im hopefully getting a promotion in april, so i can mention that. I guess thats about all i can do, i hope its enough to get off the alternate list

Good luck man! That is what the "unranked" waitlist is all about. It will weed out the people that don't really want to come here from those that do like yourself.

Don't forget to try and do something clinically, too, and tell them about it, because it would really "show" how much you understand the administration's goals of creating good clinicians. And if you can tie it all together somehow by informing them that this will help you do clinical RESEARCH hopefully at Feinberg in the future, you'll basically be telling them what they want to hear IMO.

I had clinical exp. in my application, do you think i should re-emphasize it? I guess it couldnt hurt...
