yea, as many transfers as you want bus to train and vice versa. beats paying for gas.

i doubt it. I never heard of students getting discounts. I think only seniors do.

Hey guys I was wondering what the workload for the summer research program is. Do you know if we have to go in and do research everyday from 9 to 5 for 8 weeks?

The 'no transfer' policy sucks! Plus, the fare keeps on increasing every year, without any evident changes in the transport system.

lol. yeah, i always do that. I've gotten in touch with two BU grads that way, and they both provided valuable info regarding their school. I managed to grab the class schedule off of one, too. 😀

We might as well make 'good' use of facebook. It has taken countless number of hours out of my life; time for a payback! 😛

It gives you your ID numbers, talks about the health/immunization stuff you need to get done, financial aid, computer/pda requirements, housing, vitalbook, some important dates (orientation, day classes begin, white coat ceremony) and of course the looming 2nd deposit!

I just started using my Oral B Triumph and my new Sonicare is in the mail -- hopefully. Both were free.

You guys getting psyched? Don't expect too much from NYU for awhile -- it's not like undergrad -- there's very little communication until you start. The D1 class council is playing with the idea of creating a welcome packet for you guys with things to know before getting here, as well as a welcome video -- maybe on youtube? I don't know though... we're going to talk with the "powers that be" to see what we can do.

For now though, don't hold your breath for much in the mail. And PM myself or talk to someone on facebook if you have any questions.

it depends whether i get accepted to the research program or not. if i do, ill probably move to nyc in middle of may. if i dont get accepted, ill move out around 3 weeks before the orientation
