Just wondering what are the limitations of doing a residency without a DDS? So a foreign trained dentist who matches with the program, I know there are a few states or so that you can practice in but any other restrictions are there? Can we practice in Canada? Is there anywhere I can look up the limitations ? and the states that we can practice in?

They usually give the acceptance immediately after the interviews

Yes You can do that.However, if that program did not include you in their rank list you will not match. Programs only rank candidates that have attended there interviews.

For anyone currently looking at Prosthodontics residency programs, applications have just opened for a new dental residency program starting this cycle in July 2026. This program has no tuition and include a $40,000 stipend. The application deadline is March 1st and will enroll up to 5 residents. I’m attaching the application portal and program flyer below for anyone who wants more information.
Did anyone apply to this?
