Agreed, but I have to say, Cal in general is just not impressing me yet. I kind of hate it here. I mean, Virginia is one of the crappiest places ever and this place is making me miss it 😱

Yeah, but if you're only splitting the state into NorCal and SoCal, the bay area is definitely more the former than the latter.

Tom Brady just signed a new contract lowering his avg salary in order to free up room in the Pats salary cap and surround him with high quality teammates. Three most important priorities to Brady:
1 Winning
2 Staying with the Pats his whole career (hopefully til 40)
3 Winning
Gotta respect that. Plus, it makes it harder for other showboats on the team to demand higher salaries.
CA is big enough to be three sections, NorCal, SoCal, and central ca. The Bay Area definitely falls into the central region. It is not NorCal. When your from the Jefferson State, you don't allow such mistakes to be made.

Tom Brady is playing on his fifth contract and he's already had his Flacco-like play day. Flacco just finished his rookie deal which paid him pennies compared to what he's about to make. Aaron Rodgers will likely get a bigger contract than Flacco just did as the price for QBs just keeps escalating.

I can just see the admins raising their eyebrow at him quizzically and saying "so, you think you deserve to be paid that much more than the guy throwing the ball to you?"
Oh ok my bad. Yeah normally the Patriots don't pay a lot for their FA. They expect that players will be willing to accept a pay cut in exchange for the chance to contend for a Super Bowl every year. I think Wes Welker will be resigned IMO
