Well folks, I just got a letter today saying I made the waitlist or rather what they are calling now the "Waitlist pool."
Since I may be the first SDNer to receive the letter I thought it appropriate to start the "official" waitlist thread for Pritzker.
For those that may not have gotten the letter yet here are the details:
1. Waitlist is NOT ranked; that's why it's called a "pool."
2. ~20 people receive offers for admission but could be as high as 25.
3. Offers are made as vacancies open up so I guess it is on a rolling basis.
4. Not everyone that was in the Alternate Pool made the Waitlist Pool. Rejections are probably going out right now as well. 🙁
5. They will monitor your other acceptances and WILL NOT offer you admission if you are within 2 weeks of the starting date at another program.
6. You need to reserve your spot on the waitlist by e-mailing the Audrey Gabriel. If you want to withdraw, you need to send them a written letter notifying them.
Therefore, let's get this thing going all the way through the next couple months, cheer each other on, and see how we all end up faring as we wait.
Good Luck Peeps!
