Just curious but has anyone waitlisted for Oregon State been contacted yet?
 
Ack, the 15th is tomorrow! The worst part is that I'm already expecting 2-3 phone calls this week from the area code that my waitlisting university is in. I'll probably be having mini-heart attacks all week whenever I get a call from a number I don't know. My number isn't great so I'm not expecting to get called off the waitlist, but of course my mind is still going to go there!
 
In case anyone is curious - I called Penn this morning, and they gave my number on the waitlist.

VMRCVM replied today with my ranking, I figured I might as well put it here. Kind of disappointed, it's only 3 spots better than where I was last year and I thought I did 100X better this year :shrug: Let's hope they get further in the waitlist this time :xf:

I'm #32... I have no idea how far they got last year, but last year I was #35 and never got called off.

I posted this in the ksu thread, but just to let anyone know that might be waiting on a call-

I just got called off the OOS waitlist and declined my spot! Hopefully it will go to one of you!

In the end, I have decided that if I don't get called off Auburns waitlist, I will be happy to attend my IS of Illinois, which I already mailed in my deposit for. Good luck!

Good luck to you this year. Still waiting to hear back about my Waitlist position. I emailed them yesterday. Last year I didn't even get an interview. But, I am thinking I am pretty low on the waitlist like you.
 
UMN is updating their wait list and it's actually going pretty quickly so far. I'm not getting my hopes up, but it's still exciting. I was originally #26, a number I wasn't too enthusiastic about. On April 16th they updated the wait listed applicants, and my number had changed to #12, just with people rejecting their position and them calling a small handful of students off the list. Well I called for an update today and my number is now #8! It jumped 4 spots in only a week and a half! I'm guessing they had a seat open and called three people who rejected. I hope a couple more seats open and and trend continues! I feel so close to my goal and yet I know it still might not happen.

I take it you are in-state? I emailed Karen today and my out-of-state ranking hasn't changed (#9). 🙁

Yup, IS. I had a dream last night that I ended up being #1 on the wait list. How frustrating would that be? The sad part is there are always two people for each school in that position every year. Yikes.

I feel like only for UMN does the IS waitlist move more than the OOS - dang high IS tuition!

For Auburn, I would recommend calling Kaye if you have questions. The rumor is that the incoming class is set right now but that can always change at any minute depending on other waitlists or spring grades.
 
I turned down my seat, so another OOS should be getting it! Good luck guys!!
 
Hey guys, so i've got some bad news about Auburn. I called and talked to Mrs. Storey earlier, and she said that the class has been full since April 15. They will do some more alternate calling as people shuffle around, perhaps going to their IS or not getting C's or better on their spring transcripts. However, for right now they are full and stable.

I was kind of bummed to hear that because I've been hoping for auburn since I visited. Fortunately, I was accepted to my IS so I will be attending vet school no matter what. I just loved Auburn so much. If anyone hears any news, keep us posted!
