I think there are a couple of people that were also invited for the 2nd batch too. But so far, I do feel like they haven't sent that many acceptances today (hopefully ^^). Unless there are many ppl got accepted but did not post on here or on FB page, I counted about 20ish ppl on the forum and on FB said they got the offer.

Yeah same, I want to know. I think since they posted on their website that not all acceptances went out yesterday and since an interview invite went out less than a week ago, we probably won’t know of alternate list until after Christmas at the pace they are going. I hope more acceptances go out before the end of the week
 
I thought we would hear more acceptance today around noon, but it’s so quite here. Anybody heard anything from them?

Nope nothing and I interviewed in the first round. I wonder if they'll wait until after more interviews to send out acceptances?
 
Has anyone that has gotten acceptance letters tried to activate their identity/email or make their deposite yet? I tried to activate mine and the IT department said that I'm still in their system as an applicant. Thought it was kind of odd since we have a 30 day time frame.

yeah i emailed dr shaw she said no worries they are just behind right now

I missed the student panel. I didn't even know that they hosted the student panel. 😢 😢 😢
 
wow I wished they sent the email to notify about the student panel at least. 🙁 Hopefully they had another one for those who missed it.

I’m pretty sure they were notified 12/11 for their interview and I’m guessing they had a week to complete the assessment. So today would be the last day. Maybe more acceptances will go out early next week once they have more people interviewed?

Started to get worried now, because I was interview in the earlier batch and haven’t heard anything 🥺 someone on FB just got accepted and she only did the interview on Monday.

aww.. I don't think my performance is that great neither. But I hope that they will view the app as a whole and the interview is just a small part of it, especially Kira interview is relatively new for this year, so I hope they would be more lenient on that.

Sorry, but I was accepted on Friday and I didn't see a welcome session or student panel. Do I need to activate my Ohio email to get access to this? I tried to today and the my.osu.edu page is unavailable due to maintenance.
 
Did anyone get an email about being put on a waitlist? i’m honestly so curious about how they are doing acceptances this year... it seems acceptances have been sent out on monday and friday since the 15th.... so are these all the initial acceptances, or have they moved on to working through a waitlist?

They’re still on initial acceptances and they’re sending them out randomly (not based on how well your interview was etc).

I just received the waitlist email today. So sad, especially I'm in-state so I feel like I have no chance of getting in because in-state students most likely not going to decline their offer.:arghh:

I am IS as well and didn’t get a waitlist email, so I guess that bodes better for you then it does for me 😁
 
Does anyone know if is osu is done sending out interview invites
 
In the past when they send out alternate list emails, the people who were not interviewed are then denied. And if you interviewed, and still have not heard there might be an acceptance still in your future. It could be totally different this year though, so don’t quote me on that info above

For those people who interviewed & did not hear anything about the alternate list, are they ahead of the people who did hear about the alternate list or behind?

I applied last year and I know they were super far behind and the people who interviewed but did not receive the alternate list eventually ended up getting accepted! I’m not quite sure what you mean by ahead or behind, but I interviewed in second batch and got an alternate email today. My guess is that if they have sent out alternate emails already, they are done sending out interview invites, but who knows
 
I’m IS and received a waitlist email today. That one hurt I’m not going to lie. I’m assuming the IS waitlist doesn’t experience much movement, but I’m not sure, anyone have any insight?

Hey Jammer, not sure if you're part of the GroupMe for our class, but a few others had similar issues and we figured it out for the most part (you'll see a few messages about it) - so join the group and welcome!
