I am complete at OSU-COM now and I am waiting to hear about an interview. For those of you that have experience with applying to OSU, how long did it take for them to review your application and get back to you about an interview or a rejection? I'm really excited about this school. I just like to stay as informed as I can. Thanks to all that help, and if you have an interesting info, anecdotes, or whatever about OSU, I 'd love to hear it.

Who long have you been complete? What're your stats (roughly)? This is kinda late in the game if you're only recently complete, so I'd be pretty proactive.
If you're really that interested in the school, then I recommend you call up admissions, tell them you're excited about the school, and ask about interviews. Don't be pushy, just let them know you're interested.

I was complete in July, got a call for an interview in late September, interviewed in Oct (on the first day they did interviews that year), and had an acceptance in early Nov. Different ballgame at this point of the year, though.

Good luck 🙂 :luck:

Thanks for the info. I was planning on calling them this next week. I have been complete there officially only since 2/7. I am an OK resident. My gpa is 3.68 and my mcat is 26Q. I don't know if being an honors student helps at all. If I'm not accepted this year I will definately reapply a this summer for c/o 2010.

You should have a good chance at an interview as you're right about average for a matriculated student. 🙂 Go ahead & call them.

Feel free to PM me if you have more specific questions.

I’m kind of in the same boat. AACOMAS received all of my transcripts and MCAT scores in earlier this month, which means OSU will get it in early March. I emailed Sarah Quinten in admissions and she told me that interviews will continue until the last week in March. There’s still a shot for both of us. Good luck in the interview process.

Definitely. 🙂

Also, keep in mind that there is big turnover of # of spots filled, so if you hear any #s, don't get discouraged. There are a bunch of people in my class who interviewed in March.

I was complete on 1/21 and received a phone call for an interview invitation on 2/14. My stats are 32O mcat and 3.3 overall gpa.

I interviwed at OSU on the 3rd of February. During the interview our group was told that there were only 16 open seats remaining. Being the only person who wasn't an Oklahoma resident (I live in Jacksonville, FL) I didn't think I had a chance. Sure enough, one week later the FedEx truck delivered my acceptance letter!

Keep in mind that there is a possibility that other spots will open, as people with multiple acceptances decide on other schools.
