Does anyone know how the waitlist works? is it ranked? all I know is that a lot of students get off of it but just wondering how it works/ its set up?

This has been asked numerous times, but is anyone privy to the waitlist system? Have they already started accepting off of it? Is it ranked?

Oddly, it seems as if - at least in this forum - that the waitlist activity was/is slower last year and this year compared to two years ago and the years before.

In the 2022-2023 thread for example, multiple people were getting pulled of that thing every week it seemed. Now, there’s silence.

Hope my worries are unjustified.

i have an interview here later this week, is there anyone i can direct message to talk to about their interview experience? OOS and not in preferred region 🙂

I received an email today to see if I was still interested in OSU-COM due to being on their waitlist. The admissions team is starting to look at the waitlist and wanted to check to see if I was still interested in the school. I'm guessing this was likely sent out to all those on the waitlist.

Waitlist pre-interview invite or post?

I also received this email, and I was waitlisted post-interview.

Yes, they are still interviewing. The latest round of interviews were held last Tuesday and Friday and will continue through mid-April.
awesome, thanks. I am an OOS applicant and submitted my secondary back in august so just waiting now

Last I talked to Nicole, she said they have went down to 3 interview days a month now so they are less frequent. They will run until Aprilish. I can’t recall if she said May but in my head maybe.

If anyone else was accepted through the GAP program let me know and I will make a group me!

Got an email today saying "We are currently in the midst of a thorough review process for all applications and wanted to reach out to inform you that your file is still under careful consideration by the Admissions Committee."

Although I think this probably doesn't mean much for me personally, this gives me (and hopefully others) hope that they're still planning to send out more II.

Do you mind sharing why you chose OSU over SHSU?
Don’t mind at all. OSU has been around for a LONG time, more connections, established, and the home hospital sealed it being in Tulsa. SHSU doesn’t have a home hospital and Conroe is expensive to live. The only downside to OSU is my first year tuition but I’m banking on scholarships. Other than that OSU wins every time, especially as a husband and father.

Did anybody else not receive this email? Wondering what that means for me lol.
