+1 IS II
When were you complete?+1 IS II
They are not very OOS friendly, especially if applying now, if you have no ties to area, save the moneyDoes anyone know if this school is OOS-friendly? Should I still proceed with their secondaries?
I wish they would stop emailing me to apply then :/They are not very OOS friendly, especially if applying now, if you have no ties to area, save the money
They still do that after you apply 💀😭I wish they would stop emailing me to apply then :/
They really like you to have ties to the state, but if you're competitive, you're competitive. I've met several MS-I and MS-II that are OOS.Does anyone know if this school is OOS-friendly? Should I still proceed with their secondaries?
Has anyone OOS interviewed here that’s not from nearby Oklahoma (like texas or Arkansas) ? I’m indiana with ties
sameI just got an email saying I am still under careful consideration by the admissions committee? File was complete 8/15
From what I've been told by the recruiters and several students that did BRIDGE, it's basically the first semester of med school, only slower.Does anyone know anything about the BRIDGE program?
Thank you! I’m trying find more information. Highly interested in it if I do not get accepted into medical school this year. From what I've been told by the recruiters and several students that did BRIDGE, it's basically the first semester of med school, only slower.

When was your interview? And congrats!IS A, but it is the GAP. Does anyone have experience with this process? I am just very confused regarding the metrics and how they place people into this program, so if anyone has any insight as to if this is a good path to choose or any experience in the required classes please pm me. Thank y'all if so
Not that I am aware of...but we could start one?is there an accepted student groupme or anything?
Nicole with Admissions will most likely have a Slack channel for accepted students that updates from faculty, staff, and fellow classmates can be posted to. That invite is sent to your AACOMAS email. I'm not sure when that will be created. This is what was done last year. Not that I am aware of...but we could start one?
Stay calm. Be yourself. OSU-COM really wants to get to know who you are and if you're a good fit for the school. Don't worry so much on the technical side of things. Probably the biggest piece of advice is to not over practice, so that you come of as too rehearsed.Any people have advice for the interview? Practicing with SDN questions right now
OSU is a blind interview so they do not know anything about you, so don't worry about your grades or stats or whatever while you are preparing. I practiced by recording myself answering random questions (I used a wheel spinner online), so I answered them without time to prepare a response. Don't try to answer with a script, it will come across bad in the room. I would recommend outlining the things you want to get across and each time you practice, let the ideas naturally form. The 4 most common interview questions I would have down solid are "Why medicine", "tell me about yourself", "what is your biggest weakness/strength", and "Why not -other healthcare career-". Overall just be yourself, and try to have a genuine conversation with the interviewer. You're going to do great! OSU was the chillest interview I have done thus far.Any people have advice for the interview? Practicing with SDN questions right now
LOTS of WL movement will happen in the spring and summer including into July based on previous application cycles.Just got waitlisted today as an OOS. how's the waitlist movement anyone know?

Phone calls are generally good. Missed calls happen, happened to me 4 years ago, just give a call back.CRAP! I missed a call from Caitlyn today! Is that good news? I was busy with family celebrating the holiday so I totally missed it until it was too late 😭
I missed my first call and didn't even realize they called. They called me back the next day and was invited for an interview. This was a couple of months ago but I am sure a phone call is good.CRAP!
