Has anyone seen the change in application deadline for AACOMAS? Does anyone know if there is any significance to this?

I got another file complete email from them after being completed back at the end of September initially.

Here is what they said:
Your application is still under active consideration. We will notify you of our final decision by June 1 at the latest. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to check the student portal for any updates.

Not sure what to expect anymore, I am a TX resident.

Idk if it’s worth sending a Letter of Interest talking about my deep ties if they end interviews in April
At minimum, it won't hurt. At most, it could make a difference. If they still invite interviewees the same way as a few years ago, they usually called invitations about 2 weeks before the interview.

Does anyone know when they start telling applicants if they’ve been accepted into the bridge program and how many they accept?

Is it safe to assume theyre done sending out II? Havent heard anything from them besides their promotional emails and telling me to apply

Does anyone know the turnaround for decisions after interviews? And is OSU pretty selective about who they give IIs to? My interview is this week 😬

Thanks! Do you know if interviews at this point are resulting in more WLs because the class is full?
I’m not sure if they’d result in more WLs because the class is more full, but I do know they waitlist about 60% of their incoming class, meaning that they take a lot of people off the waitlist. The last time I spoke to Nicole she said they are still pulling people off of the waitlist, so if you are waitlisted there is still a chance you get in!!

That’s great! I actually have an interview with them tomorrow so that’s reassuring.

Hey y'all! I got accepted here earlier in the cycle so I just wanted to provide some info for anyone still waiting - Currently there are about 155 people (students - they also have some faculty in there) in the accepted Class of 2029 group chat. I don't remember how many in total they're accepting this year, but that number does encompass both Tulsa and Tahlequah. Ofc, there may be some wiggle room as far as students who may go elsewhere, or students that got accepted but haven't joined the chat yet, but that can give y'all a rough idea of how many seats they have left to fill. Good luck to everyone!! Feel free to message me with questions if you have any :^)

My dream school, app complete in January but haven’t heard anything 💔 truly wish i applied earlier bc it seems like they are pretty much done with II.

Are they pretty selective with interviews? And do they usually result in an A or WL? Also do you know anything about the scholarships for TX residents specifically?

Hi! Looking for some advice. I submitted applications 7/22/24. I have since then submitted an update/letter of interest to OSU-COM. I am wondering what the chances of getting an interview actually are? I am spiraling about this as I know the chances are pretty slim. They say interviews stop end of April, so I would assume they send out the last batch right about now so they can have decisions come end of April? Is it worth reaching out again? I’m under the impression it isn’t the best to reach out multiple times. Any insight would be so appreciated!! Thank you!

I am IS so I don't know much about OOS applicants unfortunately. When I interviewed they did emphasize that a lot of ppl get WL initially and then later receive an A, but I personally was not waitlisted. They are pretty good about getting back to you within 2 weeks tho!

Thanks! I interviewed with them this week and they’re my top choice- hopefully I hear good news in two weeks

Is this basically a soft R “

At this point maybe? They’re wrapping up interviews this month.

Have you interviewed? Or are you waiting for an interview invite?

Ugghhh, the WL is killing me. I thought I had an acceptance call earlier this cycle but it was just my phone glitching and replaying notifs for old calls. 495 Mcat, IS nontrad, I'm a single mom to two sweet boys and want nothing more than to become a physician in Oklahoma and give them a great life while living my dream. Anyone a reapplicat? Is it worth is to get the GCRT in MCSI if I have to take another gap year? I also work full time and know I'd need to retake the mcat, so just curious if it'd be worth it or not since apps close May 1st.

I'm going to look at places next week. Have you found any yet that you like and are good?
My prospective roommate and I are still looking. So far, we have found Northbrook that we are interested in. I heard Pleasant Views is not bad either, but I am waiting to tour. There are some options available in the Slack group chat, though.

I put a security deposit down at Nickle Creek. It's more towards the south, but still very close to campus.

What time do they call or email out admissions decisions? Tomorrow marks two weeks since my interview 😬
