Anyone that selected the January 14th date get a time yet? I jut wanted to make sure I'm not the only one still waiting for a time assignment

I picked the 14th and haven't heard back yet. I'm sure it will be soon.

Got mine for Dec 17th at 6:30am, bright and early 👍

Can you all please share when you submitted both PharmCAS and the supplemental application? I received my confirmation on October 5th that everything was completed but still haven't heard back. I'm getting really worried now 🙁

My pharmcas was mailed around the third week of September. OU emailed me at the end of September to tell me that they have received my supplemental and pharmcas. I just got my interview invite last Tuesday. Hope that helps, and good luck!!!👍

I applied primary mid October and supplemental two weeks after that. Got an interview invite last Tuesday as well. Don't know how much it matters but I go to OU as an undergrad. Good luck!

I sent my PharmCas the last week of September and got an email from OU the last week of October.

I hope you hear something soon:xf:

That's weird. 😕 A friend of mines submitted her application the day before it was due and got an interview invite 3 weeks later.

I think there is another round of interview invites coming up because there are still 2 interview dates in January and I think one or two dates in February as well

Ohh noo. I'm so worried now. Maybe I should call them on Monday to check to see if everything is fine with my application.

Got my confirmation for Jan. 14th today! 🙂

You can check the status of your application online.
There's still interviews in the spring, so maybe they're waiting for your fall grades to show up or something.
Are you retaking the PCAT?

I have a problem like this with my second choice school 🙁

I hope I do get an invite soon. I've been checking my status online and everything has been submitted. I even called the school in October to receive a verbal confirmation and they said everything has been turned in. I am currently a senior so I have already taken all the classes I need and I do not need to retake my PCAT.

Hi everyone! I applied on October 29th. OU has received my application but no word on an interview yet. I'm like the rest of you, checking my email every 30 minutes!

GPA: 3.08 (had 2 F's and a D 10 years ago)
PCAT: 73
8 years pharmacy tech experience- hospital and retail
Community service: free chemistry tutor

Congrats to those of you who have interviews! I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I received confirmation that OU successfully obtained my applications on Nov. 21st. Every time I enter my information on the application status page, I receive a message stating, 'Not Found!!!!!! Try Again.' The site states to try following 10 days after submission of the application. I guess that means 10 business days? I've contacted the admissions office about the matter and am hopeful it is nothing to be too concerned about at this time. I too am checking my e-mail at a rapid rate throughout each day! Boomer! 😎

It took about 3 weeks for that status page to be updated with my information. I had submitted everything by the end of September.

Theres no need to get nervous just remember they are humans just like us go in there confident in yourself and youll do well. Also remember to sound genuine and not rehearsed. What helped me when i practiced was to write out bullet points of what i wanted to say.

I second this! The interview was really laid back and everyone made us feel very welcome. I posted some of the questions they asked me on SDN's interview feedback page. Good luck everyone! Jennifer told me they would try to get responses out before the holidays, but no guarantees.

Congratulation! Thank you for sharing your interview experience with us! Did Jennifer interview you today? How many groups do you have today? When did you guys leave? What did you guys wear for interview?
Please forgive me for asking so many questions, I am very anxious about the coming interview. Thanks!
Hope you will get accepted! Good Luck!

I don't think Jennifer was doing any of the actual interviews, although I could be mistaken. I saw her out and about after my interview (I was in the first group to interview, thank goodness.) There were probably...10 groups? I imagine there were about 40-45 applicants there total. Since I was done with all of my activities, I left around 1020. I was done with my interview in about 20 minutes. I wore a pant suit and white button up and that seemed to be the trend for most people there.

I was wondering is wearing open toed shoes ok? The shoes that I have are open toed and you can see most of my feet and it's also flat but thicked soled with no heels. Is this ok to wear?

And what kind of activities did you do? What did the room that you guys were interviewed in looked like?

I imagine that would be fine. I don't think anyone was looking at our feet. In fact, I didn't notice what other people were wearing, but I chose closed toed pumps. The activities we did included taking pictures (for what, I'm not sure), and fitting for your white coat size.

These are very helpful information. Thanks again!

I interviewed today (Dec.10) at the Tulsa campus as well. I was in one of the last groups of interviewers so we basically sat with our ambassadors in the room we started in for a solid hour or so just asking questions, basically killing time. They then took us around the campus---showed us the library, learning center, fitness center, etc. After that we tried on white coats to figure out what size we wore, then they took our picture. The picture they took today is the picture that is on the professors' rosters once class actually starts.

As far as the interview, it was very relaxed. I had a faculty member, a P3, and a P4. They focus heavily on your application when asking questions, and they asked many situational questions regarding my application. They asked about my pharmacy tech experience and situational questions regarding that such as describing a situation where a customer was angry and how I handled it. They also asked about my essay, about my study abroad experience, and about my volunteer activities. Situational questions were asked from ALL areas of the application, so be ready for those. Very focused on knowing your self-perceived strengths and weaknesses.

Over all though, the interview was very relaxed/conversational and they made me feel very comfortable the whole time. Just know what you put in your application (including your essay) and be prepared to elaborate on any part of it.

Good luck everyone!!! :luck:

Thank you so much for your reply! 👍👍

No problem at all. Another thing to note is that my interview was somewhat self-guided. When I say this I mean the first thing they wanted was for me to tell me about myself and why I wanted to be a pharmacist. The things I said here were kind of what they wanted elaboration on and generated situational questions from. I feel like you can somewhat control the direction your interview takes in this manner. Also, be sure and ask questions at the end. It absolutely looks great on your part to show interest in the program by having questions to ask the interviewers. Obviously every panel will be different as far as what they are interested in knowing and the questions they ask, but this all should give you a pretty good general idea about how the interview will go.🙄

I took a women's briefcase and put my transcripts, paperwork and a bottle of water in it. My mouth gets dry when I'm nervous, haha! I left my coat in the big room where we had our orientation when I went to go interview, but took my bag in case I needed my paperwork. The ambassador had a list of who would be interviewing each person. I asked for their names afterwards but you could definitely ask for them beforehand. The ambassadors were very accommodating.

You needn't fill anything out before you go. They provide the forms they want you to fill out there.

For the Vaccine History Form, it requires us to attach evidence for the immunization. Do we need to bring a copy of our imminization card?

For that, you need to turn it in prior to enrollement around june. I'm sure we will learn more about it Saturday. See you soon 😀

This suspense is killing me! 🙂 I hope we know before the end of the week.
